Wow, so good to hear this again! When I was a teenager in the 80's, my radio used to pick this station/jingle up a lot. I have never forgotten the tune. Last night I recorded myself humming the tune and today I looked for it on YouTube and found this great video. I was a few notes out but that tune will be imprinted on my memory forever!
I remember this! Our faulty tv used to pick this up, and once in church I actually heard this through the radiator during prayer (no lie), I also thought it a haunting sound + learnt this on keyboard.
Nice upload! Thought this would be impossible to find.
Brings back many memories of listening to radio Sweden on the bus home from college (in Cambridgeshire, UK) during winter evenings. I could never quite shake off thoughts of 'The Magic Roundabout' theme though...
I remember listerning to this when i was 15 in 1985.Parents sent me of to bed and with my smal am transistor i would tune in Radio Sweden as that happy little tune played and the signal came in and out as Radio Moscows signal tried to over lay itself. Gosh i miss those simple times. Radio Sweden are you mad, bring back that happy tune and dont be a sheep keep AM Going. Go on! Dare you to be different........
Used to love listening to radio sweden back in the 1990s. This jingle reminds me of my life back then, and the friends and neighbours I had. A weird feeling. But nice to hear it after all this time.
We haven't used that interval signal or the signature ("Ut i vida världen" by Rolf Lundsten for a long time now. Our current signature will still be available on satellite, FM and online. (George Wood, Radio Sweden)
@gwood3 to George Wood: I think "long time" is very short memory because I listened this broadcast with exactly this signature at 05.08.2010 from short wave. Sattellite broadcasts were without this, tried at next day.
Will be this signature gone forever? I would like to find such source in the sattellite or internet, there broadcasts will begin with this signature, but no success. Anyone knows? (broadcasts in MW and SW will end at the end of this month)

Wow-this brings back so many childhood memories. Sweden Calling DX-ers, Sarah Roxstrom and the array of excellent programming.

Det här måste vara från tiden då Hörby M fortfarande var i drift.
