Thats the famous road railer started in the mid 80s until the take over of SP from the Rio Grande. It was an over night express to UTAH for trailer needed to be in salt lake over night

I was fairly young when my father & I went on our summer vacations to Winter Park but those are some of the fondest memories of my childhood.

Tell me about it. I remember being there on another trip and seeing the headlight at least five minutes before the train came out.

I think the tunnel is a little over six miles long but I know it crests at some point within that distance. I don't konw how far you can see but I would guess three to four miles. Pretty wild stuff.
