@teashia1boo There are a lot of young people like him, but we don't hear about them and their accomplishments sad are under-viewed. Yet, if they went buckwild somewhere a camera would capture that and it would be viral. We have to start looking for the stars within out midst and letting everyone we know where they can find them because they give us hope and show us who we really are. Have you ever heard of Katie Washington? She is the first black valedictorian of Notre Dame, class of 2010
I just now watched it today like less than 5 minutes ago. I'm a senior in high school from Detroit and Im forced to spend my senior year away from my friends in rural Louisiana. The video has inspired me to work to the best of my abilities in school. I've always made honor roll at like a B average now Im striving for better. Im going to challenge myself.
@cashcascade That's great! His story is very inspirational. I hope you favorite his video and circulate it to your friends. Also, check out Katie Washington, Notre Dame's valedictorian, Class of 2010.
Thanks so much for your kind words, AuthorTanya. The power of this video has been amazing. He's been interviewed by local TV and newspapers. We interviewed him as well, and that link will show up when you plug "Deonte Bridges" into the search engine. Cheers, from apsupdate.
@apsupdate, Thank you for uploading Deonte's speech video and changing so many lives in the process. I've read the comment section and people are inspired by his story. I want to see this video make 1 million views. And I'll tell everyone about it until I lose my voice to get that done.
Another good recommendation my sister. The vid I found has 197,625 views and 1274 thumbs ups.
