I love breakbeats!!!!

  • Raving in Cosby sweaters!!

  • such a shame the music scene is a shadow of what it used to be nowadays

  • @PatrickWalker09 this = good dance, todays dance = crap

  • @sjFALCONPUNCH01 i agree with you on that one, there are some decent tunes nowadays, but the old school stuff is unbeatable

  • @PatrickWalker09 Yeah, like any music scene it has its time and golden age. You could say the same about hip hop. I was about 8 when this came out. I could only experience it at back to the oldskool events as a 15 year old, and I wish I was raving when this shit came out. Decks, vinyl, all that shit; what a fucking scene. And look what the Essex boys went on to achieve. Up to Fat of the Land they were unmatched in electronic music.

  • i used to love this music in high school but i think i was hypnotised by thier dancing more

    cracking tune tho

  • They were cracking dancers weren't they?

  • Bradford University are having a rave night. I bet they dont play this shit. I would even go as far as to say that they don't know what a fookin rave is. keeping it full on in 2011. BIG FISH LITTLE FISH CARDBOARD SOX!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @nicknoway it was a ad for kids to tell there mums there going some where

  • @nicknoway It's an advert I think from the 70's type in "Charlie says" on youtube and you'll find loads.

  • @defjeks: word!

  • House is a feeling bro! I do agree, I always thought of Prodigy as older skool rave techno breakbeat kinda guys- from the UK which is different upbringing than USA, (not in a negative way). I like Prodigy, never followed them that closely but I like a few good vinyl tracks they got out to say the least. I mean I did buy the tracks to throw in mixes someday! ! anyways, don't hate on house bro, there's a decade or 2 difference in what house music is to different ppl we all got out own tastes ;J

  • Can't believe this track is 20 years old this month!!!!

  • SO....MUCH...HOOVER.

  • i think this was a tv ad in the 70's 80's in the uk ...against pedos/ going off with strangers.

  • @set972 mate this was made in 1991 the charly bit was made in the 70s for some campaign but other than that its a really cool music vid and song i just cant believe that this the prodigy b4 they went commercial

  • maoooow! )

  • It makes me so fucking sad that this was a soundtrack to my rave, pill popping, extcy loving, free sex youth!! ..and now Im 44 years old! At that time I was the fucking daddy of clubbing, girls, bands and having fun big style!! I never thought I would get old!! Some days I need to wear a jumper to the office to keep warm!! hahahaha Atleast its my office, and my business, so things could be worse!

  • omg, tears in my eyes...

    old times' music rulezz! :)

  • OH bring back the good times!!

  • 0.53 when that tiediethatthatdiediedie drops in is the best housesound ever created.......addictive.....shame they ended up making crap like they do now. Know music has changed, but No Good was for me the last good track. My opinion and I dont wanna hurt people who are Prodigy-addicts! But this track really rocks, syill rocks after so many years. Awesome production. Sharp and Raw!

  • @defjeks It's funny that you say today's music is not like it was, when this track first landed it was shrouded in ridicule and criticism from the Hardcore. A novelty song of little consequence other than to signal the beginning of the end of true Hardcore. As expected, there followed a whole raft of lesser children's television re-mixes from Mario to Bagpus, all of which lowered the tone of the scene greatly. This track is a masterpiece, but it's taken time to set the record straight!

  • @LastDanceSaloon Right. But you cannot blaim this track for what happened after ;-) Love the term "hole raft of lesser children's television re-mixes" hahahaha! Nice one!

  • @defjeks yeah ur right, no good was awesome. . . went a bit downhill after that. i love prodigy but the new stuff just dont cut it in my opion. maybe its cause im old or something lol

  • @defjeks Spot on mate, I've tried to say that that the greatest album prodigy did was Music For The Jilted Generation and they haven't reached that pinical since, normally just get slatted. There's a great video on here called Making of "The Prodigy - Voodoo People" watch?v=6ZYLp5uX9Yw. Great to see what samples they used. He's also done one for Smack My Bitch Up which is also interesting to watch

  • @defjeks It's the voice of James Brown, master of music

  • @defjeks Are they house though...? Is that a house beat...? I have to say I always thought of the Prodigy as pioneers of rave or techno rather than house. Albeit back in the day when those terms meant something and dance music was divided into sub genres which people were a bit more precious about, whereas now its just one big homegenous pipe of eletcro bilge-toss... which I gather is called house. (I fucking hate house music)

  • @defjeks O_O i agree with half ur comment. but saying they ay done a good track since no good. but hey its ur opinion :)

  • @defjeks man, you couldn't say it better... Music has changed...!

  • One of my favorite all time Prodigy songs.
