  • Sounds as an echo in Epirus! Wonderful!

    Thank you....!!

  • You gave the visual "echo" as well dear.

    Wonderful!!!!!

  • The "echo" .... is in the part which Venetinho created (the first 47 seconds: I just copied it for the echo, indeed, it gives a sublime effect!, and I cannot do that wth WMM). After 0:47 you see my own creation. Anyhow, dear friend: thank you for watching, for your comment!!

Greetings to you and your country.....

Norway is a sublime creation of nature itself, but no, they don't have Petroloukas there, and not Antonis Kyritsis.....

  • @FondOfGreek

The whole video, as one creation, is the

"visual echo" i am talking about.

Your pictures, with high mountains and so on.

    :):)

  • Thank you, this is a wonderful compliment from your Cretaheart to my Epirusheart....!

Greetings to Florida, and enjoy the sun, the same sun, by the way, as in Greece, and in Holland!

  • Very inspiring as all your videos ! I agree with you...nature is an infinite source of peace and happiness.

  • Hello dearest Nathalie.... Thank you for being here...

You are blessed....., born in Greece, living in Canada, well, that is one Paradise and another One, concerning Nature...!

    Love!!

  • Very beautiful, and the music creates a mystic atmosphere: a feeling that you are between earth and universe. For the ancient greeks in Epirus was the door of the Adis..

  • Thank you for this wonderful explanation, and I can imagine that this part of Greece, Epirus, has special earth energies.

The musicians here are filled with it and they translate it to us, touch us, and take us in that beautiful mystical atmosphere.

Do you know the name of these musicians?

  • Antonis Kyritsis, Petroloukas Chalkias and Achileas Chalkias.

  • Now you mention these names I can understand the Greek characters which I have from Venetinho.

    Thank you, my friend....

  • Is always my pleasure to be helpful.

I forgot to mention that Epirus has this mystic character, as you said, because of her geological character: high, steep mountain picks that "touch" the sky and clean rivers that are suddenly "lost" in underground caves.. The myths were saying that Death was caring the dead inside a boat to these caves, following the river Acherontas..

  • Was in France, lately, and was on a special place, similar with what you describe here... concerning the energies, and the "dead".... I heared telling, psychics there saw searching souls from the "dead ones", and on that special place they could ascend, go into the world beyond "death". Did not see it myself, but I could feel that special energy....

Felt like Universal Love. A Higher Nature.

    Cried, for Beauty.

  • Some times being in nature alone is the best medicine for the mind - especially, the tormented mind.

Some times listening the low sounds that makes the moving water of a river, accompanied with the sounds of the tree leaves, as the soft wind moves them, is like hearing voices of the past or of other, invisible worlds..

  • We share a lot, dear friend...

Thank you for sharing all in your / our experiences...

  • Η λαϊκή παράδοση σε συνδυασμό με τις ομορφιές της χώρας μας...

    Πολύ ωραίο βίντεο...

    Μπράβο σου 5*****

  • Astonishing creation!

  • Υπεροχο

  • *****

    Very, very nice!!!!

  • Undoubtedly, "Epirotika" stand out among other Greek folk music styles. The clarinet along with the polyphonic choirs and singers, create a sound, which intrigues and moves contemporary audiences.

    FANTASTIC UPLOAD!

  • Your images compose a beautiful visualization for this breathtaking lament... The voices, so "dry" and genuine, are overwhelming...

  • Wonderful*********

  • It is an honour for me that you comment in Greek. I feel "Greek". And accepted as belonging to your people....

    Thank you...

  • Fantastic the sentiment of crying that gives the clarinet!

  • You say what I feel as my own experiences.

    The crying is in me.

    From a deep level.

    For Beauty.

    So much Beauty.

  • Thank you! You have made me feel prouder of my country with this exceptionally amazing video.

    Thank you!!!

  • I envy you that you live in this country.

I am grateful to have Greek friends.
