Well you're right. Weed isn't a drug. But THC is. Just like tobacco isn't a drug, but nicotine is. Sure, moderate marijuana use causes little damage, with most of the damage being short-term and a LOT of weed needs to be smoked to really do any damage, but it should qualify as a drug. I have friends who never had any issues smoking cannabis and they still do to this day, they have jobs and enjoy there lives because they see it as a moderation like with alcohol. Well you're right. Weed isn't a drug. But THC is. Just like tobacco isn't a drug, but nicotine is. Sure, moderate marijuana use causes little damage, with most of the damage being short-term and a LOT of weed needs to be smoked to really do any damage, but it should qualify as a drug. A drug that should be legal for recreational purposes, but a drug nonetheless. If caffeine is a drug, then so is THC, I'd say.

I mean prove that an unaltered, natural plant qualifies as a drug, that people give a fuck about any addiction that can be as easily lost as physical. Morphine was given to releive pain, and marijuana is in no way an opium derivative, although it does give the same effect. The real difference, however, is that morphine isn't opium directly form the plant;it's been processed in a factory. Marijuana grows naturally.

You know how some insects look a certain way to warn animals that they're poisonous? Think of it the same way with plants. A monkshood has brightly colored flowers, and nightshades have a 5-5-5 pattern on the sapels, stamens, and petals. Also, poison is different from THC...And doesn't get you high.

Let's put it this way - the immediate effects of weed are much weaker than the effects of taking heroin... however, if you keep smoking the stuff for years, eventually your brain will be damaged - that's a proven fact, not just a theory. You can't escape from the cimulative effect.
And - you will get addicted for sure, the same way you get addicted to tobacco cigarettes or alcohol.

tobacco grows natural, it's just people put too many chemicals in there. marijuana is a drug, just not a bad one. i don't understand why anyone drinks or smokes, it's stupid cause no one has fun, unlike mary jane.
