Nice but that is way too much work. There is a much easier way to make them. It takes me 5 minutes to make my chilaquiles, which by the way is the real name. Migas is the term Texans used. Chilaquiles is the original term for the dish coin by indigenous Mexicans. This originated as peasant dish who made the best use of old tortillas. Just like pizza. My recipe you can only use one egg.
My sister in law fries the tortilla strips with oil in a pan and then she adds eggs once the tortillas are nicely fried. She scrambles the eggs in and then adds salsa de pato ( the red sauce from the can ) and she adds queso de cotija or whatever...that salty white mexican cheese. =] Very simple but yummy.
Yo no había visto ese tipo de chilaquiles yo los hago con salsa echa en casa frita la tortilla y la salsa. Ya me dio hambre mañana me hago unos en la mañana .
I use unsalted tortilla chips or strips, to save a couple of steps. another variation would be to add shredded chicken and/or scrambled eggs.. yummm!!
El idioma Nahuatl es de los mexicas, los aztecas hablaban un dialecto, pero el lenguaje Nahuatl lo adquirieron al entrar en contacto con los Texcocanos.
So you do agree that everyone has their own version, and whats up with the name callin. Not very mature....and I didnt speak, I typed. I tell you what, why dont you make a video on how to make the "chilaquiles" and then you can put your stamp on it. I wouldn't want to miss that, hell I may even subsribe. Cant wait!!!
some traditional versions do have eggs, our families version does have eggs, we also dont use cheese, and barely fry they with garlic, so they are still kind of soft with crisp edges, then the egg is scrambled, and we eat it with a salsa picante, im wondering if anyone else makes their's like this, my family is from san luis potosi
My abuelita use to add some pollo desmenusado, my mother and wife make chilaquiles like this, the only diference is the sauce, they use home made salsa verde :D
An easy way to make chilaquiles is by taking leftover enchiladas, slicing them into bitesize pieces and stir-frying them with some red or green salsa and finally, serving them with grated cheese...
where are the subtitles? i can't hear sh*t
