Hi guys, I received a 8GB 3gen iPod touch for Christmas. Recently I've noticed my bottom left corner of the screen is loose. Should I send it in and get a refueb one, or should I just hold on to it?

@floridaorangejuice93 I avoided answering him because I thought that may be because I had a refurb iPod, however I can safely say that they still are sub-par.

Note: I am not a fanboy for anyone. I got a 32GB 3rd gen on Christmas. The Apple headphones are no match in sound quality to even my Koss KSC75 which only cost $20.

iPod doesnt have the best sound quality to begin with (Meizu or iRiver players blow it out of the water in that respect) but it's good enough for a portable.

i sold it 8 months after I got it(for $175!), but when I sold it there was no sign of anything going wrong... I just got bored of it. Now that they're only $150 for a gen2, I might pick one up again

i think apple doesnt really ship "refurb ipods" i think they are brand new in differnt packaging -notice how there are never any scratches or mishaps?

that is because they replace the screen and the back and repair any broken parts, its basically like brand new

It's basically a returned iPod that has been repaired and given a new outer shell... it still comes with a 1 year warranty.

Yep, but you can just print out a form and "pre-sign" it and the fedex guy leaves it at your doorstep.
