It looks like a pretty standard marshall combo to me. Right there in the back, provided you could take you eyes off the sweet... urh guitar.

Otherwise, tones off, but that comes with practice. Beginners tend to over distort and add to much gain in the overdrive channel to compensate for hiding some of the technical ability.

Then again, as much as epiphones are actually great guitars, their pickups are muddy as hell. This will make most people turn up the treble too much
