Why didn't they just turn on the damn radio? Yak, yak, yak. No respect for the musicians. What a drag. I hate gigs like this. Those idiots didn't know if Carl and Dave were playing or Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, and probably could have cared less. What a sacrilege. Very nice playing if you can hear above all the braindead chatter. And a mere pittance of applause at the end. What a shame. Why do these establishments even hire good musicians like this?

Here here, mate! It's just as bad in the UK nowadays. No damn respect anymore for live music, just people yakking 24/7 into their damn mobile phones or to each other. This duo sound really good and this is one of my favourite jazz standards. If I'd a been there I would stood up and told everyone to STFU!
