@Mstar82 as long as you don't need a specific hidden power you can generally have useless stats as whatever. When I sav I just leave the sp.attack stat at 0 if the poke is purely physical, y'know, that kind of thing

I breeded on my HG many Pokemon with 3-4 stats at 31 which led to 500h of gaming (400 of them just for ev breeding etc.) but I am kinda a perfectionist and especially pokemon that require 4 stats at 31 (empoleon eg) is too hard

Or when you go for Alakazam, do you have all IV's at 31 or all but (physical) attack? (as its not needed?) Or do you just have Speed and Special Attack at 31 while the other stats (Def, SpDef) are on lets say 22+ ( to make it more 'realistic')?

I know its kinda confusing but I hope I got my point across :/

For something like mixmence of course you need max attack and special attack, and for Alakazam, you're right, attack isn't needed, but it doesn't matter what poke it is - max defenses can be the difference between a sweep or a dead glass cannon

Volcarona for sure. Especially with Morning Sun, Quiver Dance, Fiery Dance and Bug Buzz. Makes it rather annoying as it can set up in people's faces with Quiver Dance or just kill outright with Fiery Dance and get its boosts. Plus its just a personal favorite.

You sir just got a new subscriber! Also in the sun my Favorite Poke to use is good-ole Gyarados. It's a water type that can counter chloryphyll and provide those ever so useful (dare I say necessary! resistances) it also has fantastic synergy with your Nidoqueen, take a bulky DD/Restalk variant and go have fun!

Like you said, its in the Sun so its not really as bad as it might sound. Plus, both Nidoqueen and Ninetales are pretty bulky so they can actually take a Scald/ Surf from a bulky Water in the sun pretty nicely.

You should try out leafon which is a true beast in the sun. Once you get a SD up, its pure rape. Mine has SD, X-scissor, Aereal Ace (for nice coverage) and STAB leaf blade (or smthin like that)! Seriously, you should try it out! Btw, I use chandelure instead of heatran, because it has better coverage. I also use cresselia, because cresselia + 2/3rd hp recoverage is awesome! Other pokes are ninetales, venusaur and donphan!

Hidden Power is determined by IVs, which cannot change usually. Easiest way to do it is to use a cheating device or Savefile editor. Else, you're going to have a lot of fun rebattling Heatran until you get a good HP Ice of the right nature.

If you want another fire type, think about Entei. Though it has been NU, Entei still has tremendous physical attack, and can run flare blitz + stone edge + extremespeed + whatever in the final move slot (I uses roar but sub is acceptable as are other things). STAB flare blitz coming off that attack stat in the sun is no joke and will even 2HKO frail things that resist it.
