  • @SVPrelude I agree it's stupid the car is what it is. I have owned one and loved it but never thought of it as anything special. They are fast/quick eco cars. Bang for the buck is all they are. With that said owners of srt4's let the people say what they want but take them to the track and find out who the real winner is.

  • @badassxr50r i say its a smart car

  • I own a srt4 and i know it's a neon.. is a srt10 not a ram/viper? srt8 not a charger/challenger/cherokee? why is everyone in denial.

  • nice color please tell me where you got the blue intake and cover and everthing else blue I LOVE BLUE!!

  • @gavenxtremes26 it came from jmb performance and powdercoat i think

  • nice color blue for the motor looks very clean

  • what mods u have

  • Thats funny that the guy is really arguing that the #16 is a N/A cam, lmao

Too bad Crane makes a #12-#22 for the TURBO 2.4L motor. Read up before you start trying to E-thug.

  • james, your a noob and E-Thug lol! how is that new mustang treating you?

    lol whats up its steve.

  • "Arguing On The Internet Is Like Being In The Special Olympics...........Win Or Lose Your Still A Retard

  • you put 16s on an srt4?! wtf? You do know those are N/A cams not turbo cams ....

  • Not necessarliy. 16's aren't strictly N/A cams, they can be used in boosted applications as well. It's likely that they aren't needed in this setup, but to say that 16's are just for N/A cars is a noob statement.

Go work on a car and learn something.

  • My neon runs low 14s on N/A so please don't tell me that i need to learn something. Your immature comments alone tell me how much you truly know.

  • hah you need to get real man. Those 16s will not play well with his boosting. He needs a cam that has a split duration cam .. i wonder if you know what that means??? Well an FYI it will reduce turbo lag and help a turbo spool quicker due to the exhuast duration being less than the intake cam. It connects in your mids to high RPM ranges where the boost is actually applied.

  • So tell me what "setup" would a #16 cam be used in a turbo application if it's not strictly N/A applied? Huh since i'm Mr. noob ... lol.

  • If he's running a big turbo setup around an 82 trim, a 16 isn't a wrong setup, with the right mods it's recommended. You run a NEON, we run SRT4s. Stay on the porch.

  • A srt4 is a neon.

The game is slowing passing you by ....

  • srt4 is a neon lol.

    Wow...

  • If those are N/A Cams then why does Crane Cams offer #16 cams for the SRT-4 which is a stock turbo car.(crane #16s for SRT-4s are different than crane #16s for neons)

  • srt4 is a neon.

lol dumbass the #16s that crane sells for the srt4 NEON is almost identical to the ones sold for the 1gn neon.

The only difference is the duration for the exhaust and intake.

AND actually the #16s hold a longer duration than the ones for the srt4 neon.

The duration is only off by 7 degrees.

    lol.

  • lol your gay

  • hahaha So the only difference in the two cams is the only thing that makes cams different! LDA, Duration, and Lift.

  • srt4 is a neon.

lol dumbass the #16s that crane sells for the srt4 NEON is almost identical to the ones sold for the 1gn neon.

    lol.

  • @rohicks

actually the srt-4 technically is NOT a neon. think before you speak. second of all, they made 16's for an srt-4 and 16's for a 1gn N/A different for a reason. think about it.

oh and 7 degrees, when your talking about power gains/loss, is a lot. go ahead and run 16's for an srt-4 in a 1gn neon n/a and tell me how it works for you. lol..

  • @gydzter23

let me guess you are from srtforums? The laughing stalk of all turbo dodge forums. Your beloved dodge srt4 is in fact a neon. If not then tell me what car it is EVERYTHING IS THE SAME besides the motor/trans. the suspension is a little stiffer but the same. and ooh the brakes a little bigger. You need to get a life and admit your skittle is a skittle, Just a fizzled fruit instead of normal flavors.

    Hit me again tube sock!

  • @gydzter23 technically it is a neon. if you look on a car title it is listed as a dodge NEON srt-4

  • @freeagentrider91 My title doesn't say that. I've still got the window sticker and no where on that does it say neon as well. "2004 Dodge SRT-4". When you apply for insurance its under SRT-4, not neon. When I get car parts- I can't tell them neon because when they ask "what engine?" 2.4L isn't on the drop down. Theirs actually a SRT-4 model car they've got to choose from. Also in the manual does it not say neon. But I totally agree with you- technically it IS a neon. But in reality its an SRT-4

  • @SVPrelude The body is still a neon. Leave it at that. Its the same as a impreza and a sti and lancer and evo. Same shit different companys. At the end of the say it is a neon but honestly cracks me up when people in honda si's or evo's or sti's hate. They are all based on a eco car.

  • @badassxr50r I know- I'm not really defending the fact that its not a neon. I know it is. But technically- its an SRT-4. Call it whatever you want, idc~ but if for whatever retarted ass reason this had to be debated in court, the jury would rule in favor of an SRT-4 from the facts I've stated.
