He makes it sound too easy. This aria stays in the passaggio and becomes very exhausting. His tonal beauty and breath control are amazing. This version now ranks higher than Gedda for me.

el maestro Alva y su voz ligera, impecable en Mozart y Rossini, cuya voz podria pasar horas escuchando sin cansarme de ella. Este tenor es un orgullo para todos los latinoamericanos, incluso supera a muchos tenores ligeros de aca de Italia

en lo que el pudo cantar, me atreveria a decir que supera a todos.. el mejor don otavio de todos los tiempos. podra no haber cantado el cesa di piu resistere, pero en todo el resto del barbero es el mejor. y de este cosi fan tute ni que decir.

@puxex Te doy toda la razon, y mira si no lo quieren en Italia, estuve en la Scala, Ya estaba a oscuras de pronto prendieron las luces, avisaron por parlantes que el maestro Alva estaba presente, la gente se puso de pie, iluminaron su palco y lo aplaudieron a rabiar 5 minutos, sin parar, presentaban la Italiana en Algeria.

Ademas la Comuna de Milan le ha puesto en la calle donde vive VIA ROSSINI en su honor. Esto es en Balarsina donde actualmente vive. Y a las 82 años aun enseña en la Scala.
