I always used to go so and see Chris de Burgh at the Royal Albert Hall every year for six years with my brother in law, but he suddenly died and I stopped going, I couldn't go with anyone else, he was my best friend as well as a B-I-L.
Reading the comments on here about this song amazes me - Chris De Burgh is prob more known throughout Europe more that Frank Sinatra is here as, is his talent - and to all you young guys out there, your missing the point of the song wich is you don't realize what have until its gone - the line you need to remember is: " If I think your are beautiful, some one else going to see it too"; there will always someone who is willing to take your place when you don't appreciate what you already have.
I have written this message in hope that my dear friend Milly may read it. I have been trying to locate her, but sadly I’ve had no joy. I know she is a fan of Chris de Burgh so I live in hope that she reads this message and contacts me. Milly previously lived in Folkestone and worked for my mother. I let the best thing that ever happened to me slip through my fingers, even if too much has happened for a relationship to develop, I would also be happy to have her as a friend. Sam x
