  • I, too, agree that, more often than not, the hunger arises via inadequate nutrition. Loading up on empty calories to satisfy the appetite merely increases it. On the other hand, loading up on healthy, whole foods and water tends to eliminate or reduce it. Another culprit of mindless and emty eating: the eyes. They deceive, making you think you are hungry when you see tasty junkfood; however, a well-established sound diet makes junkfood less and less desirable.

  • so true, it is like the body finds a balance. it really is a calming affect for me.

  • i agree that we tend to eat more because the body is not receiving the proper nutrition. you are doing great! 2lbs is a normal weightloss amount for 1 week. hey look it at this way, you are 14lbs lighter than you were before you started eating raw. just stay focused and you'll meet your goal(s).

  • WoW! Thanks for the shout out I wasn't expecting that. You're doing great. 2 lbs lost is awesome! I know right you would think someone would get full and not eat a whole bag of chips. Coconut Oil is a good fat. I should behave myself,but I've used it to make raw fudge.MmMm! It's also good for your skin and hair whether you eat it or put it on there directly.
