@ajohnson153 I'd never heard of Zakk, nor this acoustic album until a few months ago. I began to learn to play guitar and this album was rec to me by a friend. Amongst 7 other albums he recommended to me, this one really stood out. Its a truly timeless album and a COMPLETE work. I was surprised to see it was released in 1996 and I was just hearing it now. This album will never EVER play itself out in my library.

Hadn't listened to this album in a long time...put it on yesterday and fell in love with it again. This song has to be my favorite from BoS. I love the Southern rock vibe - sounds like something Skynyrd might try. Gotta love the Mixolydian mode, and Zakk can really sing too. I love the "grit" in his voice, and I also love the fact that he's musically very open-minded for a metalhead. I wouldn't expect someone who played with Ozzy to appreciate this laid-back stuff. But Zakk digs it all!

indeed a must have album, this is my fav song from b.o.s., black label soc is one of my favorite bands, i wish i was into him when this album came out in 96,would have loved to see these songs played live, fyi zakk pretty much played eveything but bass and drums "exc for i think 1000000 miles away, where he did take bass duties, on this record, truly a insanely talented dude. maybe someday he'll do something like this again, one can only hope
