  • @SinCity007 I think I agree with you. I love the original aswell, also cos its set at Christmas, but I agree this is slightly better. I think all 4 movies are ACE! Shane Black has to be one of the best writers out there.

  • Very good soundtracks on all these films, hard to say which was better. Great song here.

  • Quietly these films all somehow had very catchy and memorable soundtracks. Very well done.

  • @mtbronco1979 it was George's wife Olivia who coined the phrase cheer down as a way to cheer George up

  • Dear Matt: I always loved the beatles & George Harrison was a phenomenal talent, but what does it mean to "cheer down"? Love, DAD

  • Great song and amazing film.

  • @goldminer1957 ReallY?

  • Great production here.A little bit of the Wilbury's feel to it Jeff Lynne on the harmony ?

  • @DaDa2Phlux

You bet. In the movie, Jeff Lynne is given a production credit for the song. And Tom Petty co-wrote the Lyrics with Harrison. What a team!

  • @C6H5NC Indeed .The Wilbury "family" was a great assemblage of musicians & friends. No egos / no 'baggage' just getting on with it & making great rock & roll.

  • @ilotu Whoops, thanks for the correction...and not calling me names.

  • Mrbrockpeters said it all, cool in all departments.

  • i call this combination...

    George Harrison & The Heartbreakers

  • Super song! An all-time favorite.

  • I saw Lethal Weapon 2 and when it came to the end scene in the movie where they played this song I cried like a dog.I had the best of dark horse on tape and I played this song so much it broke. When George died I cried again like a dog,it was such a loss to the world.

  • @DarthKreeg i know what you mean......I havent felt this bad for someone dieing that i did not know personally since the death of president kennedy

  • Classic.

  • Unless you were an obsessional George fan, not a lot of people knew about this track untill it was used on LW2 and perfectly timed for the end of the movie, a lot of people i know who saw it at the cinema waited to the very end of the credits to see who sang it, I of course knew exactly who that great voice belonged to and when to my nearsest HMV the next day to buy a copy of the soundtrack. What a wee Gem this is.

  • One of the best songs and movie closings in history!

  • - Diplomatic immunity!

    - It’s just been revoked!

  • @filatovXD lol it's like one of those memorable quotes like terminator:i'll be back

  • @filatovXD

-whats your name? Hans..Jans...well I might as well call you hitler.

  • Juste parfait.

  • This was actually the only song released from what was to be the Traveling Wilburys second album. Del Shannon died before it was completed so the project was never finished.

  • top song

  • Man, I've always loved the chord progression on this song!!

  • My scale for the 'Lethal Weapon' movies/sound-tracks:

    'Lethal Weapon' - Both 8.5/10.

    'Lethal Weapon 2'- Both 8/10.

    'Lethal Weapon 3'- Both 8.5/10.

'Lethal Weapon 4'- Have yet to review it. (**The movie wasn't all that good, or, so people have told me, but, at least it's nothing like 'Batman & Robin'.**.).

Check out my sound-track reviews for 'em when thry come up & also, "Don't forget to sub-scribe.".

  • Such a great song.

  • I like to listen to this song when I'm in a particularly sardonic mood.

  • leathal weapon remains still one of my fave movies, and this song by George Harrison always brings a smile.

  • Realy love this song, brings back good old memories, R.I.P my Cousine! il think of you when i listen to this, hope you get a better life in heaven.

    Thanx for this song!

  • Jeff Lynn must have been in this song in some capacity.

  • @flashfast2000

Jeff Lynne YES-you can hear him on backup vox &he produced Cloud Nine, Good song.

  • uploader!!! aww man!!!! thank you so fuking much man!!! you are the fuking man!!!

  • por fin encontré este tema....gracias por subirlo...es una maravilla!!!!

  • Love the piano and slide guitar

  • Bad thing about a song like this is you remember just how old you are and how much fun you had back then and no matter what you do it is all lost to the past. It's not until we are old do we realize that when we were young was the best years of our lives. Especially the 80's; who can argue with that?

  • @bluegrasscotty

One day we will run out of tomorrows, and yesterday's become the stuff our dreams are made of.

  • Screams 1980's American action triller film music.

  • damn good song.

  • Love this song and this great movie.

  • His song is so cool and I love it!!!!!!!!!!!

  • rem

  • Im too old for this shit... :D

  • FUCKING A. RIP GEORGE.

  • The song is much better than the movie. The movie was okay.

  • George has a way of haunting you -

Should have loved him more when he was around. Too much time deciding who was the heart of the Beatles; John or Paul when George was always the pulse.

Thanks for your your creative spirit in everything you did.

  • Diplomatic immunity.....its just been revoked. What a great movie, as good as the first.

  • @ozphil ...and they've been "de-Kaffer-nated." LOL

  • Riggs has a nice truck.

  • They really DO fuck you at the drive-thru!!

  • When I first heard this at the end of LW2, I rewound the credits and listened at least three times more. Love it.
