Floyd didn't look sharp in his fight with Ortiz. He got caught with some good punches until Victor pulled his dumbass headbutt. Cotto will most likely lose, but, anybody can be knocked out, even captain perfect Mayweather. Don't be shocked if he gets caught by a cotto left hook. Just my opinion, but Floyd is way over looking Cotto. Should be a good fight either way. Despite the age and weight, it's still amazing Floyd was able to outclass Marquez for 12 rounds. I thought before this it was impossible to look good against Marquez. Floyd fighting Cotto at 154 though is going to be a better test than on this night.

Floyd said himself that he didn't feel comfortable at 154 and I believe him. Cotto looks good and comfortable at that weight, which he displayed by dominating Margarito in their rematch. Plus, Cotto is younger than when Marquez fought Floyd. Floyd is still going to dominate, but might actually take a few left hands when doing so.
I think this is what Mayweather-Cotto will look like. Cotto should box, use a stiff jab, double and triple the jab. Also you'll see here that Marquez is trying to throw a left hook when Mayweather jumps in with his hook. Right hand under or over the hook! upper cut or straight right hand. Mayweather will win, but Cotto should use the jab and box, and he will make it competitive.

@egkm6 Mayweather is so far ahead of JMM and JMM did give Pac a lot of problems. But you have to understand that when Pac fought JMM, it was in 2004 and in 2008 and the fights were fought at featherweight (or super featherweight). Between then and now, Pac has gotten so much better. Also, when Floyd fought JMM, JMM was fighting at a heavier weight that he's never fought in. I believe Pac will destroy JMM next month just like Floyd did and prove that JMM can't beat him.

Interesting..thet feint and bait worked to upset Pac's rythm, but right from the start in round 1 he tried it against Floyd and Floyd hit him with left hooks.
Also, pac was not fast enough to get in and out without getting countered by Marquez. Floyd had too much speed and was able to do it.

@ThePerQLator matter of opinion??All PAC had to do was fight shane instead of fighting a beat cotto..shane called PAC out on several occasions and even went to the gym to negotiate and they wouldn't talk to him..if you bein ducked at age 37 it says alot..so floyd had to come back and settle that unfinished business. because shane was bein ducked not just by PAC but clottey and berto had to pull out so floyd had to come back and fight the best and thass what he has done so far.

@pretteboy25 that was the issue that made the mayweather fight fall through. mayweather wanted stricter drug testing for both of them. pac refused. innocent athletes are proud to prove they're clean. the whole, "mayweather wanting me to take these tests is an insult to me" thing is bullshit. if he thought the tests were an insult he'd prove mayweather wrong by passing them. he won't though. there's no evidence because he won't take anything but the most easily passable tests.

@egkm6 Mayweather is so far ahead of JMM and JMM did give Pac a lot of problems. But you have to understand that when Pac fought JMM, it was in 2004 and in 2008 and the fights were fought at featherweight (or super featherweight). Between then and now, Pac has gotten so much better. Also, when Floyd fought JMM, JMM was fighting at a heavier weight that he's never fought in. I believe Pac will destroy JMM next month just like Floyd did and prove that JMM can't beat him.
