Nobody was supposed to play Kyle. The role was created for Brett after they gave Scott Clifton the role of Schuyler. Since he had a contract, the show was obligated to use Brett for at least one 13 week cycle. The rest is history.

I don't know if anyone has responded to you yet and I'm not 100% certain but I think they are saying angina. It's usually referring to suffocative chest pain. In this context they probably mean panic attacks :)

That was an extremely cute part 1 interview!! All three actually. The interviewer even lets the two actors talk! Cute Brett cute! He had nice things to say and his voice is to die for! Love his laugh!! Love how Mark Lawson keeps looking at him and the interviewer! And they all agree on KISH!

Brett seems nervous though and at first a bit apprehensive, if you ask me.

Want to watch Part 2 but I'm dreading the "as a straight man, how was it for you to kiss another guy".... Pleeeeeeeze.. Yawn!
