yeah singer sounds like a tomcat with a pair of vise grips on his balls but to be honest this is a pretty tough piece to sing. I'd tend to give him a bit of credit if he knew the history behind what the song is about, a famous battle of the Crimean War as told in the "charge of the light brigade". Look it up sometime, fascinating story about truly brave men who knew not the meaning of fear.
