Depends on what you mean by "withstand". I regularly hold metals that are a couple hundred degrees, but only for short periods. As for all-day kind of stuff, I don't feel heat until it gets above 100f.

Not sure what a "reaper" is, but, sure, have it. This was filmed over 2 years ago. Since then, my partner Michelle has built her own sword and started a fleshing routine. In fact, we've done tandem routines.
