  • sorry NOT insane, not, 'nut' insane.

  • finally, these rank amateurs show some team work. Ramsay has said that in the us version of the show, he has MUCH more difficulty with the (even shorter) attention span of the us contestants; and mind you! ... many of the u.s. contestants are so-called 'professional,' chefs.

this is a very good representation of the real 'tenor' of a real, Michelin-starred kitchen. Tense; but nut insane.

  • pandaya those with an attention span APPRECIATE the tongue-in-cheek narrator. put down the comic books eh, mate?

  • Where are they? That's not Hell's Kitchen

  • I want you to be a little more fucking composed. LOL.

  • dwayne shoulda been doing a lot better, after-all, he was on performance-enhancing drugs!

  • Gotta say (even though the cousins-across-the-pond might not like it):

The US version of Hell's Kitchen has actual chefs - like it alot more.

Kitchen Nightmares: the UK has it all over the US version, much better...

Eh, ya' win one, ya lose one... :o)

  • imo, the heavy editing in the US 'Hell's Kitchen' works, it goes at a fast pace and you can really get into it. But I'm afraid the pacing in the UK version is a tad too slow for my liking.

But the US approached 'Kitchen Nightmares' the same way (even using the same soundtrack as HK) and it doesn't really work on that show, it feels camp and cheap, they should approach it that one like the UK version.

  • omg. the narrator guy is intolerable. seriously.

ahhhh i just want to kill him.

  • Abi does a good porno which is available on the net...mmmm

  • does anyone kno what season Jean-Christophe and Gary rhodes are in

  • the kitchen seems more like a kitchen, and less like a set in this one

  • lol james is soo much like his character on Gimme Gimme with kathy burke. thanks for posting this

  • They make the UK versions so people in the UK will like them and the US version so the people in the US will like them. The UK viewers think the US versions are too over the top and crazy and the US viewers think the UK ones are boring. To each his own.

  • Why do the UK versions of Gordon's shows seem so boring?

  • gordons not drinking water thats for sure ^_^

  • this reminds me of my days in a school culinary arts.

  • I think they should just stick to a breakfest place, that might work

  • Comment removed

  • @kurisutokaochan well....yeah...but i'm sure you're not the best teacher/lecturer in the world...are you....?

  • @kurisutokaochan your on drugs

  • To perform like a good cook will take time. Your brain need days if not weeks to adapt to all the new working logic and memory storage. He can not blame them for not coping all at once. It took him years to be able to watch 10 things going at one time.

  • the host of the program should shut up! he obviously loves the sound of his own voice.

  • american hk is so much better imo

  • Man, it's going along at a good pace, then the narrator comes in and drags it all down. No wonder they cut that out of the US version.

  • @pandaya They cut it out of the us verson because the level of concentrated intelligence required would absolutley disintegrate their brains

  • @pandaya yeah i agree with you on that. though i hate the super heavy editing that's done on the american version, the UK version has that freakin narrator. seeing him come on is the same as having a commercial come on lol

  • @pandaya Yeah but usually when the narrator's talking during HK US it either shows Gordon with a constipated look or the Chef's sat together on a fag break. Angus Deaton at least puts some humour into it

  • @pandaya Yeah, wish I could punch him in the face. Hard.

  • @pandaya

    ..agree..

  • @pandaya The USA version is rubbish it has loud pointless music all the way through and a loud fake American shouting all the way through and then its edited & chopped to bits ......Just like everything American ITS BULLSHIT!

  • you should dry your hands before doing farmwork

  • hes to nice to celebs...

  • Tap 7:20 O_o

  • who care about this english tart's stupid commentary at the beginning ??? get HIM in the F&$#&#$&^ing BIN !

  • 2 hours for a starter!? ......

  • I thought the risotto was the appetizer not the main course.

  • a note to any americans watching this show who think the host is an idiot, hes not, thats just his style, hes a comedian, and a funny one at that, but the american hells kitchen is still better,

  • Otherwise nice show, but the mickey mouse host is infuriating.

  • man...camera work sucks holy fuck.....do they run around with 1 camera? shit

  • Wait for the risotto..wait for the risOTTO!!! xD

  • Brits eat weird food LOL. And a couple of f-bombs are sneaking through from Gordon...this is fun.

  • we love wierd food lol tastes better somehow hahahaha and the "f-bombs" u can never censor them all with GR lol haha

  • Many of theese people perform better than some of the winners of hells kitchen USA...

  • Think that Gordon seems much more...nervous here. Like he is not sure what to expect. Thank you for the vids!!! great stuff to watch!

  • The UK version is missing JP.

  • yeah :(

  • he seems to give the uk hells kitchen an easier time then the us hells kitchen

  • cause hes UK-ANIAN

  • That's because they aren't proper chefs, whereas the applicants in the US series are actual chefs who want a restaurant.

  • It's because these are celebrities and not people who actually WANT to be in food service as chefs and who supposedly have a background in food prep.

We expect celebrities to be clueless.

  • Renella170, you've got that the other way around. He acts in the US version.

  • Charcoal. LOL

  • I think the cooks should always wear caps in the kitchen and the one whose plating and touching the food should wear gloves as well. Maybe a Heparin vaccine before eating out is a good idea if this really reflects the standards of the commercial kitchen.

  • stereoypical.

  • not sure what you meant, hello to you.

  • bite me babies, I have to have my pudding, give me my pudding,,..

  • eat the pudding eat the pudding eat the pudding eat the pudding eat the pudding eat the pudding eat the pudding eat the pudding eat the pudding eat the pudding eat the pudding eat the pudding

  • who's the blond that's waiting for her food. daniell something. people in the UK should know better than i can.

  • the UK version is boring. I like the American version better. it's more interesting, and more demanding. Ramsey is much easier on these people.

  • angus deaton is about as funny as a case of piles. the american version is much better then this one and im english

  • Americans are less cultured and more savage than Britons, which is why the American version of the show is shit.

  • Obviously everybody gave you thumbs down because they don't like knowing how it actually works, haha. It's not "Hamburger! Hamburger! Hamburger!"

  • depends on the restaurant you're in. one thing for sure. most kitchens don't have a total ass hole at the helm like ramsay. he's a good cook but he's one of the biggest kitchen assholes i've ever seen. there are bigger ones out there though.

  • okay Jedimaster, Ramsey's way of doing things is the old primative way? Then why is he one of the most successful chefs in the world?

  • I've worked in famous restaurants from switzerland to ny to Israel to UK, none of the restaurants use calling out method. The chef can't remember 10 different dishes at once. on average a good cook/chef can remember 5-6 at a time he's working on. After that it gets too confusing. They did it this way cause they thought it would work out better, but if each station has their own printout they can work easier but timing things better because hey see it, &not have to remember everying, understand.

  • Hmmm...

I think Angus Deayton is a real bore. They spend far too much time having him chat on in a boring way.

What I do like over the american version is Ramsey has more solo parts with the camera and seems more real. However the American version has more energy to it because of the contestants.

  • totally agree with you there

  • The English version is 100 times better then the US version. It's more real

  • It is, apart from the annoying prick presenting the show.

  • I like the host-YOU try and keep a straight face with those lines.

I like it. Very much so.

  • lose the host of this show...he sucks

  • I agree!! The bloke is bloody irritating, and a fucking bore.

  • Painstakingly, British.

  • a bloody arse, that is

  • Abby is pretty cute. No clue who the hell she is though but whatever.

  • She did a Lesbian Sex Tape and had relations with John Lesley. She did a bit of glammer modelling in FHM etc and a few Celeb Reality Shows. Her full name is Abi Titmuss.

  • I think that Gordan Ramsey is rather subdued in this version. But I love how the celebs actually talk back.

  • what's your problem?! everybody can live the way that they want. even if you don't agree with them.

and how did "muslim fundamentalists"(whatever that means) make its way to hell's kitchen?

and could you a little respect for other religions please?

  • Religious fundamentalism refers a "deep and totalistic commitment" to a belief in the infallibility and inerrancy of a holy book, absolute religious authority, and strict adherence to a set of basic principles (fundamentals), away from doctrinal compromises with modern social and political life

  • Dear God that comment is pompous and over the top. Tone it down, dude.

  • Americans just don't seem to get the irony of Angus.

So what if he takes coke and fucks prozzies?!

Live with it stateside bitches - get on the program!

    Failure is not an option!

  • "more on that later" i swear i will actually scream, holy crap. i usually love the english ramsay shows, but that guy is SHITTING ME!!

  • Haha "Or else im going to stick your arse in that chargrill"

  • idk but i think the Uk one is more unique lol the old lady

  • FYI, overseas viewers: the 'old lady' was an actress in the UK's longest-running soap, Coronation Street. She played Alma for donkey's years. God knows what she's doing now, apart from rather desperate reality TV. Probably panto! Abby Titmus ought to be at home in a kitchen. As far as food goes, she's had more issues than the Times...

The UK contestants are more eccentric and funny-peculiar...while the US ones are generally funny-stupid! Sorry!

  • Don't know why you are voted down this one really does suck. I keep hoping that it will get better but it never does.

  • angus deayton is a legend, very funny, the last series with marco was made by angus.

  • i wish that host wuld piss off

  • This beat is SLAMMIN', yo! Anyone know what it is?

  • I bet Heaven aint a place on earth no more

  • It's true this would have been so much better if they had gotten rid of Angus, it really didn't need a presenter

  • "More on that later." How many times does he have to say that!?

  • I think he's concentrating on not fuking up in front of GR lol

  • The UK restaraunt is MUCH smaller...

  • "stand up straight, please!"

    Yes, Mother Ramsay

  • these are celebs in the uk,their better at their roles than the so called pros in the usa,now thats a joke!

  • UK pff it sucks ..US is more drama it's true but UK is a joke ? ? :s:s

  • I'm with you on this one. Its like the contestants are just there to have fun. I want to see them suffer.

  • hahaha im used to the us one but thi sis hliarious

  • Gordon jumps on weakness...as soon he notices you cant handle the pressure he gives you more!

  • Thank you again Sweetyflypie!

    Excellent!

    TA!
