It's not a travel actually, if any of you idiots know anything about basketball. You get a two step gather if you receive the ball while you are moving. He took two steps and then used his right foot as a pivot. Have you guys ever seen fast breaks where they take couple steps after they catch a pass before dribbling when they're running down the court 15 MPH. That applies to what you just saw, he was moving when he received the pass, so he gets a two step gather.

He didn't take 2 steps after he got control of the ball. Try watching the video again, after he gained control of the ball, he lifted his pivot foot up to start dribbling toward the basket. The rule in the NBA is that if pivot foot comes off the ground, you have to dribble or shoot before it comes back down. As you can see in the video he starts to dribble before his pivot foot comes back down, there for it was a legit play.
