very impressive. Ours are not as well trained, and we currently do not have a proper sled, as we only get about 10" of snow a year. but we take advantage of what we get, when we can.

@MrGooglis Kick Sleds are very lights, so I wouldn't use more then 3 dogs with it. . and even with 3. . . you would want to add a bit of weight to the sled. Since they are short, you can lose control a lot faster then on a full size sled.

@minina2770 I bought a canadian Kick Sled, which is designed for use with or without dogs. But you shouldn't really use more then 2 - 3 with the sled. I paid $150 for a used one, but new they run about $250. You can find them at Black Ice Sled Dog Equipment.

@motorbreath1983 That is their travel trailer. The dogs ride inside it. :) They all have their own kennels in their, the sleds are stored in there, and I think that one has a camper section in the front for the mushers to sleep if it's an overnight area.

Just about any type of dog can pull a sled! Remember, this group does it more for fun then anything else. :)

Shiloh and Shelby had to stay home :( You aren't supposed to bring your own dogs becuase they will distract the other dogs from doing their jobs. So they stayed home for the morning. I am looking more and more into the Skijorning aspect of this though. I think they would both enjoy that!

I have looked into KickSledding too. We do a lot of biking together in the summer. She enjoys it so much! I am going to do some practicing on skis alone again first, and then maybe try it out.
