Mine was oddly 6665 Which I think is funny because the game randomly generated the number of the beat. Meaning my game is Possessed by Satan him self :( Ah well no wonder my PSP was floating and I hear voices in my head.

It's random.

It changes with each game.

You just have to count the objects in each room.

You peek through the keyholes, and each room has a different object.

The riddle tells you what they are, sort of.

One is ghosts, one is apples, one is books, etc.

The number of each of these objects in the room indicates that number on the safe.

ya so the only books i have in my first room are the 4 on the top shelf, i only see 3 ghost faces but i can see a forth body, 4 cans and apples, and 2 full chairs but i can see that there may be 4 in the room but for some reason nothing i do will open this safe please help

@ blackman5000an2 - You have to count the number of books on the floor and chair too. Chair...is a little harder to see.

Unfortunately, it's not that simple. The password changes for each time you play, you can't just give out an answer, you have to do some puzzle solving.

it differs for each player.

the paper on the floor gives you clues. look through the keyhole in the rooms that it allows you, and count how many things. for example. on mine, it says resting on all 4 feet. it refers to chairs. count the chairs that you see in a certain room and thats your number.

Correct me if Im wrong, but since I just tried that nd it didn't work, every CC:FF7 copy released must have a different combination for the safe.
