Is Al Roker a REAL waetherman ? Well this guy just answered my question. He's a wannabe weatherman. He's a TV personality,who gets up for about 5-10 seconds and says it either sunny or rainy. He contributes NOTHING. I used to like the weather channel 12-13 years ago,but too dramatic for me now, and then they add this boob. Dr Neil Frank...miss you down here in Houston. That guy was a REAL weatherman. Srcew the weather channel,I'll stick with NOAA.

@chubphucka He's alwqys been just amazingly annoying and uninformative regarding the weather. Then I found out he isn't a real weatherman, but 'plays' one on TV. He took a 'couple' of meteorology courses ? He makes guys like Dr. Neil Frank look bad. NBC should pay Dr. Frank all that money to give a real forecast,not get up for 5-10 seconds and crack corny jokes.

Very interesting, Chris, good questions. I went up to New York a few years ago and got to be on the Today Show behind Al when he was doing the weather outside. He entertained us while we waited for them to come shoot stuff outside, seems like a good guy.
