I like this, and I love crosby/bowie, but this is really good too! I guess it's blue eyes and red hair, as clay did have red hair, and so did bowie in earlier days as ziggy! ;) And all three of them have such beautiful voices, I am a big fan!

I really enjoyed this. They blended really well together. I went back an listened to the Cosby/Bowie video--good too! I think they both can be enjoyed. Isn't it nice YouTube can do this for all of us. Clay has a beautiful-rich voice.

Chill out. It anin't no competetion. Music and performances are to be enjoyed, not put up one against the other or compared one to the other. It is, what it is. Change the channel, station, video or walk in to another room if you don't like it. Room for all to participate and enjoy. Of course I prefer Bowie/ Crosby, but this is good too.

Great fun to see this again. Clay was so new to the whole TV thing back in 2003. I think he did an amazing job. No one can deny this man can sing. He continues to sing -- has a PBS Special out this year and a new CD "Tried and True" which I love. Also, very special is his last CD "On My Way Here".

i wait all year to go back and watch this again, i saw the version with bowie and bing when it happened too. It was from a bing crosby family holdiay special, with david as a guest star to sing this arranglemt with him. i do believe the techs at nickalodian crafted this clip from that production, though it has been a long long time since i saw it, & for some reason i kind of remember one of them wearing a green sweater? need to check that out.

and there is no denying the fact CLAY CAN SING!

I liked it better than I thought I would. The charm is a little diminished due to the fact it was not a live performance as the Bowie-Crosby take....never the less Clay did well on this....PS...I to would be interested in knowing where this Bing version originated from?

Ok...This is great but the Bing/David Bowie Combo will always be the best, because it really happened. Bing Crosby IS the voice of Christmas and will always make hearts swell withthe feelings and love of t he holiday season...Bing is the BEST (no matter who sings along)

This was totally done with Bing's widow's approval. And please notice that the vocal part is NOT exactly like Bowie's. Bowie is fabulous, too. (I'm a Bowie fan AND a Clay fan). Bowie is Bowie, Clay is Clay.
