It's all in the camera angle. The part of the slide we don't see is where the slider stops and the the dummy is launched. The dummy flies unnaturally towards and in the pool. Again, the camera angle doesn't let us see the content of the pool, so the guy getting out has been there all the time! I just don,t get the dummy launch part.... :)

The problem with mythbusters is that they have two guys who are amusing and good a building stuff, but neither is really a strong engineer or scientist. There are a lot of myths that they "bust" just because they couldn't figure out how to replicate them—not because they're really impossible. Most people I know with a physics or engineering background find the show amusing, but an untrustworthy amateur hour.

With the angles, they would only have to make it look as if the original slider took the ramp when it was actually a dummy, then another actor gets out of the pool, with a little bit of editing to make the dummy look real... easy to fake but still cool.

The physics of slope curvature, surface friction, speed, acceleration, parabolic trajectory, air drag and turbulence depending on the body's shape, etc. etc. can ALL be calculated very accurately... in an ideal (and simplified) situation (sphere instead of a live human, no surface bump, no chaotic air flow...)

My point is, the video is either an incredible luck or has been tampered - edited - to fake the jump. Mythbusters cannot prove the impossibility of suceeding because it is indeed possible. Only some technical analysis of the video in question can reveal that it is fake.
