@musicismyfavorite777 he uses every fucking finger basically, i don't get it either, i've tried, and it's so difficult. he really is such an impressive player. and he makes it look so fucking effortless! while singing...beautifully...
@AccidentAmbulance I know, while learning this song I just now started using my middle finger while I pick, I used to only use my thumb and pointer, but that's almost impossible with this song lol. Not only is he an incredible player/writer, but his skills in the studio are freaking remarkable. The stuff he adds in his songs are just perfectly pinpointed. He knows exactly what to do to fill them out on an album, and yet his acoustic versions are still as awesome.
@musicismyfavorite777 totally agree, he knows how to produce stuff and put it all together so well. it's almost inhuman. it's depressing that not a lot of people can understand it, a lot of people i've shown him to think it's boring and too slow. but every CD has it's own sound almost, you can hear him evolve. Ghost Town is amazing in my opinion, very different, but I Do Perceive has to be my favorite. Fuck man, i could just talk about his music for hours.
An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "SAM ZURICK" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!
It looked like Oscar's barking totally tensed up Mike and threw him off a little. Still amazing performance though, I love how lost I feel in all of Mike's music. One big wandering melody.
Brown hair in a Bird's Nest has such a beautiful tone, as for the chord progression, and tonality it has so much more than this song. However, The Armoir is still a beautiful piece. Would love to know the tuning for Brown Hair in a Bird's Next though, seems pretty easy to play.
Mike Kinsella has reall y bad luck for outside factors while playing, there's always cellphones sounding, people talking, babys crying, and dogs barking jaja
@gramnegative17 Any interest in tabbing this out? Or if anyone want to tab this out...I would love to but I've never been good at picking out finger picking patterns by ear.
@moogrocker i beg to differ man. Mark definitely has his own style, and i think that a few of Mikes older tracks (possum, everyone feels like you) have a little bit of a Mark Kozelek feel, but Mike definitely branched into his own, warmer, faster tempo style.
nice pad!

Look at his picking fingers... really look at them. He makes it look so effortless.

@matpeachey My favorite by far is "At home with owen." 2nd place goes to "I do perceive." I think those are often considered his best.

The tonality of this song is so natural and unique. Kinsella is a legend; the most underated artist I know of.
