I brown my meat first; there is nothing more gross than grey meat. Searing meat first locks in the juices.

I need to find a site where you can find a lot of cooking videos online. Videojug is okay, but it's not strictly cooking and when you search for something as simple as beef stew, the first thing it finds is "Beef stew for your Dogs".

I definitely need a slow cooker.

Very easy and well done. Good looking stew. Thick like gravy. I'd serve that with smashed potatoes in a heart beat.
