The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 79, Verse 30 The Arabic word Dahaha means egg shaped. It also means an expanse. Dahaha is derived from Duhiya which specifically refers to the egg of an ostrich which is geospherical in shape, exactly like the shape of the earth.

The deeper layers of the earth are very hot, The Qur'an rightly refers to it like a carpet spread out, so that we can travel along its roads and paths.2. 1) anything is possible with God, thus, he is GOD...... He can create universe and can destroy it in a blink of ur eye...... he doesn't need 24 hour or watsoever..

2) ok sun and moon were created on fourth day to give light ..but yes there was light on the 1st day because ,

(1 John 1:5) God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

Therefore, God himself is light .....and he can himself emit the light for this world....he needs no any sources.... that is how there was light on the 1st day ..

@natfx7, there is another error in Genesis 1 which most people haven't spotted. Sun & Moon created on the same day (Genesis 1:14-19). This day had a morning and evening, which implies a 24 hour day. However, scientific established facts inform us there was a gap of at millions of years until both Sun and Moon were formed.

If you say the 6 days are long periods, that means you cannot solve the vegetation coming before sunlight, because the vegetables would be there at least a long period (i.e. 1000's of more years) before the sun came.

If I was Naik, I would have mentioned the date of Jesus' birth contradiction (between Matthew 2:1 & Luke 2:1-5) & the day of Jesus' death contradiction (between John 19:14 & Mark 14:12-15), as they carry more significance to Christians than O.T. contradictions.
