@TheKubaTV Well if you ended up getting the rest, or even failing the rest, it will repeat the previous special stages over again. That is if u havent beaten the game by that point lol

@TheKubaTV This is how it goes. Each stage comes one after the other, whether you complete it or fail it. If you do complete it, it will not show up again. If there are any stages you failed, the big rings will take you to the earliest one you failed, and the cycle will start over, until you complete them all. Big rings still do pop up even after all emeralds are obtained. If you touch them they give you 10 rings. I hope this helps :)

So say I get the 50 rings in the special stage but rather than get all the blue spheres for the perfect score, I hit a red after I get my rings, do I still get my emerald?

@Primape92 No, you absolutely need to grab all blue orbs in order to get the Chaos Emerald.

Right now, the only way to earn yourself a Perfect Bonus in Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is to always collect all the rings in every 3D Special Stage. This not only includes free-floating rings in the 3D Special Stage, but also rings that are generated when a rectangular perimeter of blue spheres is cleared. You're awarded 50,000 points at the end of the 3D Special Stage for collecting all the rings, regardless of if you've earned the Chaos Emerald at the end of the 3D Special Stage.
