wow this is really impressive. i think i hit repeat 20 times. My friend entered in this contest, which is how i even found your song. Sadly she didnt get through the finals either. I enjoyed your video, there shouldn't be an age limit, you definitely have talent. I submitted a video for the 2011 contest. A video I produced and wrote and performed all the music for. I heard about the contest for this year, and looked up last year's entries. Yours is definitely one of the best, kid, top 5 material easily. Some of the best musicianship and mixing in any entries, and you have great presence. The DQ, while following the rules, was terrible; coffee isn't alcohol, and there should be no specific age restriction provided you have a parent or guardian's permission. Keep on playing, and good luck with the really interesting work it sounds like you're doing.

Hey Ricky, The thing is nowadays, no matter how good or how bad you are, in order to get votes, you need some promotion. I would say that the most effective way is to mobilize your family, friends, classmates to spread the words and link thru twitter, facebook, myspace, etc.
