  • sounds like crap lol

  • nice kit. Although those cymbals sound like SHlT.

@ZildjianL4D2 Stock heads are usually pretty decent.

  • Why would you make a video showing the SOUNDS of your drums, and then say "oh hey they are not in tune right now." doesnt make any sense, ya its a nice LOOKING kit, but thats why we have photographs...

  • @Racerdew "You're a liar, you didn't get a masters kit. You just got those pictures off the internet" said my friends. Hence the video

  • your set would sound awesome with those toms tuned. its a pretty big set, im am building mine up to be that big or mabye bigger. i am at 6 drums 5 cymbals double bass cowbell and tamberine. and this year should be getting about 2-3 new cymbals and 3 new drums

  • hmmm....needs more COWBELL!!!

  • good drummers/ smart drummers. tune there drums before setting them up.

  • @XDrUmErBoY512X excited drummers who have been waiting for their dream kit for like 7 years set them up straight away.

  • @SnarkieDrums i respect that response. are they tuned good now? sweet playing btw. i didnt mean to offend you btw. :/

  • @XDrUmErBoY512X Oh no thats fine :P And yes, they sound beautiful! I even replaced the heads with coated ones and they sound even better. Thanks (:

  • @SnarkieDrums :) just a suggestion! i looked at your other vids and you seem to be into like pop punk? i suggest getting an aquarian superkick 2 on your bass some remo ebony ambassadors on your tom resonant sides.. and some evans G2 coated heads for the batter? play for sound not brand :) and a hi energy snare batter head. and evans hazy 300 on the bottom! and you'll get a gooooooooood sound man. good luck! :)

  • @XDrUmErBoY512X Thanks heaps! I was just about to order new skins so this helps a lot :D

  • @SnarkieDrums hey man nice set i think XDrUmErBoY512X is just jelouse. keep playin drums i love it man. great job.

  • haha why do people always do sound checks and then say the toms arent tuned right??? why do a sound test then??? what a joke!

  • @rhettro10 your moms a joke.

  • @SnarkieDrums damn pretty sick comeback for a retard!

  • @rhettro10 you're just jealous ^_^

  • @SnarkieDrums How do you normally tune your toms?

  • @zackattack94 Complicated process.... I remove and clean the heads, replace them, tighten the tension rods on both sides loosely by hand, then (batter side first) slowly tune each rod in a star-formation by checking the pitch of each of them by tapping them with my fingers... I tune both sides to the same note, then I tune the batter side up slightly tighter. I tune them in perfect fifths, takes some playing around with though. This video sounds horrible.. they sound better in my "save me" video

  • @rhettro10 aha your jealous of his stuff :P

  • like i said.... i wish i was rich :'(

  • why does he play all with french grip? !?! ?! :\ :O

  • Nice kit, nice playing, work on technique

  • y make a video when your drums arent even tuned

  • may i ask how much does a set up like this costs?i really like to buy a kit with 2 floor toms.thanks!

  • i love this kit. i have bin looking for a price all week, how much did you get it for?

  • Pearl drums!

    Paiste cymbals!

    Pro-mark sticks!

Dude, you've made the right choices :D

  • @FinalSix100 Nah

    The right choices are

    Pearl Drums

    Vic Firth Sticks

    Zildjian Cymbals (high end).

Now thats how it should be.

  • they weren't tuned, yet they still sound pretty good. atleast the snare does

  • bad tuning? Or bad camera?

  • ah don't you hate it when someone has such a nice kit, and yet does not know how to tune it! its sacrilegious!

  • @PaulCockerill1 ah don't you hate it when someone doesn't read the description of the video and makes false accusations.

  • @SnarkieDrums why would you play them straight out of the box before tuning them? thats an easy way to damage the heads if theyre put on wrong. not to mention the sound of the set is alot more important than the looks.

  • @mrtucker12345 because i was going to replace the heads anyway and my friends who dont know much about drums think that looks are more important so i didnt really put any time or effort in to tuning them cause i didnt care

  • Bass sounds pretty good for out of the box, and is that a Pearl Eliminator I see? What a great pedal choice. Got one myself. Great kit. Keep up the good work.

  • sorry for sounding like a drumming newb here :P but what's that tom holder thing called at 2@05 have been after one for ages but can't find :(

  • I'm currently saving up for the black and white fade version of this kit.

I'm halfway there-'ish'. A thought keeps coming to my mind, *come on, just buy a Vision, you have enough, but I gotta keep telling myself no, and stay determined. This is my dream kit, (well the drum part of it anyways lol) and I'm working for it no matter how long it takes.*

  • @rollerghost615 awesome (: and definitely keep going for the masters, they sound a LOT better than visions. ive played my mates VMX and theres a big difference.

  • @SnarkieDrums Thanks :)

  • @SnarkieDrums Not arguing, but just saying, I have the most expensive vision (Only around 2000$ but still haha) and it sounds amazing. But the masters are A LOT more expensive and usually sound better haha.

  • What's with all the negativity? It's just a dude playing his drums (a nice kit at that). You assholes come on here like the guy is running for president to criticize him. Does it really matter? Is anyone changing the world here? Have fun playing man, teacher, no teacher... what difference does it make? Have a blast.

  • your gonna get authritus and fuck up your wrists

  • Dude its a 1600 dollar shell pack for 3 toms and a bass!!!! Why in world wouldnt you have them tunned

  • if they were right out of the box, your skins wouldn't have so many dents on em, either that or you're just a fucking hack who beats the shit out of his kit like an amateur. i'll pick the latter.

  • @TheBoondockSaints they aren't dents. they're just marks from the nylon tips.

  • @TheBoondockSaints this is the single stupidest comment ever.. you must be half retarted or somthing? "Why do they have so many dents on them?!" hahahahah never comment on anything ever again..

  • haha

  • how much was it?

  • does the shell pack for these drums come with the tom stands?

  • Negative comments are from people jealous that they started on a piece of crap kit and their parents couldn't afford anything better. Just laugh cause they wish they had what you had. Who wouldnt want to have a Masters instead of a Pearl Export? People will always talk crap. I have played for 22 years and consider myself a pretty good drummer.........but have seen guys w/1/2 my experience that blow me away....oh well....................life goes on and I can live w/it!! Keep jammin!!!

  • You obviously don't take lessons do you... because no self-respecting teacher would let you walk away from any lesson STILL playing that badly! It reflects badly on them! Sort your technique out, sort your balance out, sort your control out...and then try again!

  • what you spent for the kit? cymbals except :P excusme my english .. I'm italian! x)

  • beaut of a kit.

I have to say, yeah tune your drums or get your teacher (i assume with the money for a kit ike that you have one) to tune them. Its a waste if you don't

Remember a good kit sounds shit with a bad player and a bad kit sound awesome with a good one!

Keep practising, your sounding ok, just a little forced and doesnt have much feel to it.... let go more maybe? I dunno, tbh best advice i think is to fuck everything and just the things how you think you should. lol

  • @mufasahootenanny Hehe (: Yeah I know how to tune them, I just didn't have time before I made this video. Check out my newest video - you can hear them tuned there (:

And yeah, I think I was playing pretty bad in this video anyway :P Thanks (:

  • 2 words. Sabian and DW

  • @TheLesbianFish pearl and paiste :p

  • Man don't worry what people say. You got a nice kit and have fun with it. Some are just jealous. I own a MMX set similar to your and have been drumming only for two years.

  • hey man good for you for having such a nice kit. It doesn't matter what skill level you are. Never worry what people think and just play how you feel is best for you. Keep on rocking.

  • @Jordanbmx66 awesome comment man

  • Comment removed

  • sorry its at 2:35

  • Bahaha. You can't just tell someone they don't deserve something when they saved up and paid for it. Thats like buying an ice cream and then someone says

"You don't deserve that, you can't even it eat it properly".

    lol. thats' low man.

  • Comment removed

  • LOL thats an awesome example. i agree. drumtard is probs jealous x]

  • Hey, I'm using the same clubs on my pedal! :D Aren't they awesome?

  • yep ;D

  • Damn mrcreamegg how many more times you gonna cmnt me? And whoever said anything about pounds? I was never aware of that. It ain't worth 1000 pounds hahaha

  • arguing with ppl on here entertains me

  • And all of that should notttttttttttt equal out to 14000. You got ripped off big time. Seriously that's sad. And there's no way you personally saved up for it all. I don't believe it. Who would.

  • i just looked at online prices and added everything up (hardware, cymbals, drums) to just under $14000 australian. so..

  • HeHe I just calculated the whole thing and ended up with $17000 but I think I went to some rip-off websites. Lol

  • where in the world did you go to "calculate" all of that? i estimated that out to be around 7 or 8 grand.its not even worth 14k.the mcx shells are only like 2500

  • @goots80

    Grand is British Pounds.

    Dollar is U.S money.

    He said $14000 That's like 7500 Pound.

  • @goots80

I think your getting confused with Dollar and pounds stop and read before commenting.

  • @goots80

He said $1400 that's half the price in pounds.

  • This is a waste of a drumset. You suck. That color sucks. Your tuning sucks. Your bass has no type of muffling. Remos suck. Get EC2s. Upload a new video and we'll see if you've "gotten better"

  • You're just hating on this kid because you're jealous... get over yourself

  • i agree with hotdog. and EC2s? EC2s are the worst sounding skin i have ever heard! and wats wrong with the color? and maybe you should upload a vid and show us how good YOU are cause i bet this drummer is better.

  • HeHe yeh this guy sounds really jealous. I have Evans EC2 heads though but only cos I cant tune them very good. I guess people buy them cos they sound gd at almost any tuning

  • hah what do i have to be jealous of?i play a masters premium at my church and own a vision with the red fade color.fades and natural woods are by far better looking than sprayed on paints&glosses.i got Acustom and Khybrid cymbals with an elm mapex black panther and a demon drive?really?im jealous.what do i need to be jealous of?him having 2 toms i woud never use??

  • Umm okay then... but I DID say in the description that I hadnt tuned them yet. I have Evans g2 coated skins now, it IS worth $14000 and I am preparing for my next video right now. and thanks for the constructive criticism. really helps.

  • And if anyone's wondering... I'm saving for recording equipment before I post a new cover. It's taken me awhile to save up for all the mics, interface, firewire card, cables, cubase, new camera, etc. I'm just waiting to get the condensors and some Sennheiser e604s.

So hopefully I'll have a new cover up by June! =D

  • @goots80 hah you posted shit on my drumming videos too...goots you're a joke man...everytime you say something everyone else just laughs at you...post some videos of your own drumming before you open your mouth again

  • LOL thats funny. Just ignore him. He only gets on youtube to pay out other peoples drumming because he's jealous. ;)

  • Comment removed

  • no offense, but you're not good. Atleast you've got rich parents to buy you anything you ask for.

  • i paid for it myself. =| you don't know how long i saved up for this... and how can you tell how good i am by watching a video taken right after i sat down to play them for almost the first time. i wasn't used to the set up AT ALL. Totally different from my old kit.

  • I think your playing was great

  • yeah cos your not very jealous are you?

  • haha im pretty sure you'd say otherwise if you saw me now... its hard going straight from a standard kit to an 8 piece, then sitting down and recording yourself being confused and not knowing exactly what to hit xD

  • try evans ec2's

  • where do you lern those things oO

  • your a nice drummer

  • siic kit im thinking of buying one my self how much did this set uback in your countys $

  • $14000 AU D=

  • nice drumming tune them. i own a masters they atre tuned they sound awsome. yea my masters sounded like that before i tuned them. i tuned them sound awsome now do the same

  • Hey man, you almost have to tune your drum set before update a video here!! Because Im interesting in the sound of this drum kit but without tuning your drum set, the sound is not good.

When you tune up your drumset properly, update a video!!

  • Okay but I'm making any new videos until mid next year. At the moment I'm buying recording interfaces, microphones and new video cameras.

  • Can you make a vid telling us what cymbals you have because I wanna know what size that alpha crash is and what that splash is

  • D= why didn't i post that in this video? Weird.

I can't make a video at the moment but i can tell you what they are.

The Alpha crash is an 18" Thin crash and the splash is an Alpha 10" This Splash.

  • How did you get that bass sound?

  • i have the batter head tight and the resonant loose. i can only get that sound from my masters bass drum though.

every other one ive played on sounds SO bad compared to it. masters bass drums just sound awesome

  • Do Metallica!!!!!! PLS.

  • my good your parents must be rich (Y)

  • lol. nah. took me a long time to save up

  • why would you post a video of not properly tuned drums? lol.

  • haha because my friends wanted to see my kit and i couldnt be bothered taking all that time to tune them

  • agreed, drum tuning is a bitch

  • yeahhh. first time i tried it, it took me 8 hrs for my whole kit and they still didnt sound right.

i was bad back then. lol

  • travis barker cymbal bag. 0:11

  • somehow $14000 AU. i couldve got some stuff cheaper

  • Dude whered you get that shirt PLEASE TELL ME!!!!

  • jayjays $5 lmao

  • Hey man,

sweet kit and nice playing. I live in Australia and i'm looking at buying this exact kit, how much did you pay for it and where did you get it from?

  • Nicee. I paid $4000 for it from a small music shop called Derringers in Adelaide. It came with 5 toms, bass drum, sensitone snare, pearl 1000 series hardware pack (snare stand, hi hat stand, boom stand, staight stand, single pedal). It was the BEST deal i reckon I could ever find. I'd been looking for so long. If I was going to buy all that stuff from anywhere else it would have cost me just under 8 grand. Most places sell 4 piece shell packs with snares for about $4000.

  • There was a couple of websites you can buy them from and get them shipped from the US for about $3000 total. Much cheaper if you want to risk it.

  • really nice set man im trying to save up to get this set

  • Your sooo lucky! I have the crapiest drums in the world. Ive muffeled them to the extreme, stuffed 6 pillows in my base and they continue to give me that god awfull buzz/ rumble. cool drums guy.

  • I m gonna get the same drum set in bout one week! But in black sparkle fade for about 1500 euros.

  • Niceeee! I was GOING to get that colour lol. Youre lucky

  • Hey how is the pearl 1000 hardware pack at billy hydes?

or where did you get it?

  • Oh youre an Adelaide drummer =O cool.

Yeah I used to go to Billy Hydes but then I found Derringers music. A lot cheaper on most things, especially cymbals. Billy Hyde sells 5 piece MCX shell packs for $4k. I got the 7 piece MCX with the hardware pack (was about $1500 when i checked for the same price. Awesome shop. I still go to Billy Hydes sometimes though.

  • Yeah i got to Derringers sometimes, so how much is just the pearl hardware pack?

  • Lol i dont even know. All i know is that it was around 1500

  • lol k what school are you at?

  • whats the sensitone like, sounds good to me

  • reeally nice sound. it just comes untuned a lot.

  • how much does the mcx kit cost?

  • In Australian Dollars, $4000 for the 7 MCX drums, snare and pearl 1000 series hardware pack. Somehow everything together cost me $14,000 D=

  • its good im not the only australian here.... lol, wat did the pearl 1000 series hardware pack contain?

  • Ohh right lol. It had a Single Pedal, Boom Stand, Straight Stand, Snare Stand and a hi hat stand. Hows that for a quick reply? lol

  • very.. do u do anything else but this? lol just kiddin.. that come with it or did u buy that separatley?

  • it came with it. it was a pretty good deal. I added up the seperate costs for everything and it added up to a bit over 7k.

  • how long have u been playin?

  • Im getting the MCX in the same color ... or I dont know what color ? I like the Orange Fade, Lime Fade, Chestnut Fade, and Bronze Glass.... ??? Plz respond to this saying your favorite color skeem... PLZ?

  • ORANGE SPARKLE FADE! I LOVE IT! Any Sparkle Fade colour is good. It looks so good on a stage. It's so shiny. Haha. Get one of those. Goodluck

  • dude your awesome on the drums! Even though your toms arent tuned they sound awesome and the cymbles sound good too! I got mine a few days ago in lime sparkle fade and i got the same snare and it sound great! They do seem very shiny! Awsome drums and awsome vid. 5/5 =D

  • =O nicccceeeee! where did you buy it?

  • Cranbourne music in australia, victoria

  • did your heads come with the kit? especially the coated bass drum head on the front? and you've got an amazing drum set man beautiful finish! =D I'm currently saving up for the same mcx. maybe the same finish you have or in bronze glass finish. i still can't decide what finish i should get because they all look so beautiful! lol

  • Nicee. Yeah all the remo ambassador skins came with the kit. I'm pretty sure they come with every MCX now. =D You should get the same finish as me. The Sparkles look amazing. When I set it up at my school assembly it was sooo shiny. Haha. People were talking about it for ages. GL with the kit

  • awesome! yea I've decided to get the same finish as you. it does look beautiful even on your vids! and i'm pretty sure it looks even more better in person lol thanks a bunch dude you've help me a lot! =D
