  • Glad you enjoyed it, I have not been panning in 2 years and miss it....Metal Detecting has taken over......

  • thats a great video! Thanks for taking the time to make that and teach

  • Things change fast....the area where I was gold panning in this video is now posted......You have to find out. However there are many places to find gold, just ask for permission if unsure

  • im going up this spring sluiceing..... is digging holes to get down to the gold legal cause id rather not run into fish and game

  • Gold in the eastern belt is much more pure than the west, Here in N. Georgia it is very high purity. Great find !

  • I'm not sure If I know what you mean....."This has to be a troll video" ? Its just a video of me digging for gold :)

  • Gold in NH? This has to be a troll video.

  • @juliaisafilmbuff123 Why are you trolling this guy? Stick to Dave's channel. How the heck is this a troll video? What a freak..

  • N.Y. ......gold is here BUT if u find any, it belongs to the state.......i NEVER find any in N.Y. heh heh heh

  • @saintmj57 i live in ny myself. theres really gold here? lol

  • @backwoodsboy1121 YUP! ....but a better place int he northeast is Maine....swift river! check it out, not too well known but has gold.....just DONT GO when its not summer! cold as S$%^T !!!!!!! lol

  • @saintmj57

are you for real?NY has that bylaw.Do they actually expect anyone to hand it over?

  • You should come down to north Georgia sometimes. A lot of Gold still here. I can get an ounce a day high banking just about anywhere in the mountains. Beautiful high quality gold, some of the purist on the planet they say. God bless and may your pan always show you color.

  • @GregoryD57 sssoooooo jealous of you

  • @saintmj57 It's still hard work, lol !

  • Very cool video. I used to go trout fishing up there when I was a kid. I've been looking to pick up gold panning for the heck of it and it's good to know I don't have to drive fifteen hours to do it.

  • Pretty river =D

  • Good vid, very motivating. I have been researching gold prospecting for a few years and more recently focusing on New England states and chose NH. I climbed the Whites for 30 years and know the area well. Do your research, the web has a TON of info, use it. Get permission, its not that hard, the locals are great, FOLLOW THE RULES or you will fuck up a good thing. LEAVE NO SIGN!!! Minimize your impact to the area. Yes, I did find some 'Fines'. Lots of work, lots of fun.

    Thanx again for the vid.

  • any gold in new york in the lake ontario area and finger lakes areas

  • Nice video. One thing that should be mentioned is that is Private Property! Unless you have permission you should not go there.

  • @canoeman44 Private property ?? no one can own the river bed all you do is get into the river where it is public property and don't touch the shore.

  • @canoeman44 River bed=Public domain.

  • Nice job on the vid! The winter is very long and it sure is nice to get out after the long waite. I prospect the swift and surrounding areas in Maine. I always wanted to go to NH to dredge, but I dont know where to get the permit. Could you help?

  • My grandmother owns part of the land off of the Wild Ammonoosuc River so maybe I can try there :-D

  • People drive from NY CT and MA to get to the amm. You have a prime base for gold hunting!

  • @piecartbox you can't prospect on state of Ct land I asked they said that you could be arrested

  • @jhunted7667 yeah CT sucks ass...why would a liberal state allow commoners to amass their own wealth.

  • nice job.
