Inflation is what happened. Possibly due to adventurers being able to find gold in the middle of nowhere, and other stuff

Actually I'm pretty sure the higher costs of items and loads of money for working is just for gameplay purposes.I mean come on, who ever heard of making 2000 gold per sword?The blacksmith would be broke in no time, I think it's stupid personally, a lot of things in this game were made with retards in mind, like the fact that you can't die, just get "scarred".I mean JEEZ, even the people who designed WoW weren't such pussies!And how can you possibly die in this game anyway?
