There is no way to be able to tell the sex of a baby at ten weeks because the bump between a babies legs at this stage has yet to elongate and become either a clitoris or a penis. It would be difficult to tell the sex if the baby could be seen with the eye never mind in an ultrasound

their is no way of knowing the sex at 10 weeks thay dont know till 17 ,18 weeks im almost 11 weeks dr has told me alreay told me iv got to wait till then

@atkinson1957 Sex can be determined earlier than 17-18 weeks (approx. 12 wks), but accuracy depends on fetal position... i.e. your baby (like my son) is keen to show off their goods. I doubt hobbychannel knew the sex at week 10 - or the sonographer's guess was a lucky one. I think this image was uploaded (& title added) after the birth of a baby girl.

wouldn't it be small at 10 weeks because I know that the embryo by that time does have sex organs however it's too small to see. I am currently 11 weeks and my first sonogram is next week I can't wait to go check out my baby hopefully everything is great.

I heard that there are at home test...like a home pregnancy test that will tell you the sex of the baby? Hmmm...sounds a little unreliable to me. I actually saw it on "Kendra." She waid that she took one and it said she was having a boy...I think it would still be fun to do, although I wouldn't go out and start buying boy or girl things after i took it.

the only way you can find out the sex that early is from amniocentisis or CVS. the sex organs arnt properly formed at 10 weeks

Im 10 weeks pregnant at the moment with my 3rd child and u cant find out the sex of the baby until ur at least 5 months lol

actually I found out at 16weeks I was having a girl when I was pregnant with my daughter, she was abit rude(you could see everything!)LOL at 18weeks when pregnant with my son I found out about him, I am also currently pregnant with my 3rd child, but Im still in the 1st trimester.
