so i got this case also but did what he did and swapped out the stock 1200 mm fan that goes on the back with a blue led one..my question is i know this case has room in from of the hdd cage for another 120mm fan but am unsure which way to orient it...blowing out or in...my buddy says blow air out, and another says blow cold air in, im not a heavly computer savy person but does anyone know?
Airflow should go in one direction with one being intake and the other being exhaust. Air must be able to flow through the heatsink to sufficiently cool it. That's why you should keep a minimal amount of wiring clutter inside the computer. The answer to your question is if the back is blowing out, then the front needs to blow air in.
Yes! I finally was able to build the case just like in the video! Except I removed the Harddrive case because it block the front airflow. But Yeah!! I got my own Apollo case now! ^^
Its not a nice case, its a freakin' gorgeous case, probably the best looking case ever! Every time I have company over they look at it and say, "What is this, its a computer, no way!" And are at awe. Try using an all modular psu (Silverstone 750w)with Ultra's X-Connect UV cables (assorted colors) & the Lexa will look kick ass!
Oh I was talking about the NXZT Lexa case and not the ugly Apollo case! The Lexa case is just "PERFECT". Everything I imagine to put on a custom build pc fitted perfectly inside the Lexa! Love it 100%...
love it almost identical to my build.same case and color/i just built ..black appolo with extra 120mm old blue fan.took rear stock and put in front.p965-ds3 gigabyte brd.2 gig ddr2800 g skill,e6320,250 g sata drive, one blue lite bar,xp media.wasnt too keen on glossy black at first .kinda growin on me.e..have fun.maybe help me over clock .post tutorial pls.just would like 2.8g.dont wanna mess with much .its pretty much perfect...
