I saw a TV show, "Unsolved Mys" maybe, where a guy seems to have found it. He was in contact with Stuart Udall, I think, and that was the last person he spoke to as he went out to it. He was found dead.Anyone know what I'm referring to?

They called off the search this weekend for the 3 guys who got lost up there last week.

There is some who say the gold wasn't even found there and he misled people about it and it actually came from another area.

This man found a VERY ancient gold mine, and I guess he flipped out and went nuts if he killed people. The government / military was involved at one point also, and many claim they took the treasure and the evidence of a lost culture with them. This is all filmed in an old episode of Unsolved Mysteries, they actually interview miltary officers and others who were there.

The mine atributed to be the Lost Dutchman was located in 1983 by Charles Kenworthy. He has written a book about the discovery with many photos and the area location. The area contained more than a mine. It featured several underground areas, one of them for human and animal habitation that was cut from a cavern across from the mine location and were known as the "Hacienda". Charles Kenworthy and his group made entry into the hacienda as well the mines themselves. <KX

This is super cool! I want to go back there and check the Superstitions out! I was there when I was a kid many years ago! Now, this all takes on new meaning for me...want to check it out for sure!! Some people say to get out of there by nightfall or you may see some wierd, scary things!

It does exist...I know were it should be. Inside of Weavers Needle. (Think about it, ther has to be a covered up entrance to Weavers needle.) Tell Clay Worst he is the Man..I'm glad to see he's still looking.

I've talked with Ron Feldman personally and him and I disagree that it's in Weavers Needle.
