Lovely girl.....decent and a great example of a good role model for young people.....I loved her performance. Randy Jackson was a jerk......compare Carmen with that ugly Trenyce or the insufferable Kimberly Locke and Kimberly Caldwell that season.....Carmen gets my vote!! Sure she couldn't beat Ruben and Clay but she definitely was a true shining example of talent and dignity that season. That's my idea of an American Idol.

I think this was one of her better performances! I didn't like that last note but everything else was good. It seems Diane Warren coached her well... Hated Randy for not giving credit to her!!
this is by far the most beautiful look they gave her. The song and outfit go great together. This performance should have given her at least another week.
She doesn't have a lot of power in her voice and remembering Taylor Dayne's version--Taylor sang it with such conviction--this version wasn't like that. But she did sing it pitch perfect. But it's a song that should be sang with conviction. Your love will lead you back. She should sound certain and she doesn't.
