Just that one part where both hands are playing sixteenth notes in opposite directions at the same time...that's the only bit that should give you any trouble. :)
@POOPonnaSTICK As you should know, during the Baroque, all the voices are equal. A note with long duration can not be clearly heard on a cembalo. I think you understant why. Bach put trills on these notes to keep them heard, because he kept all voices to be independent. Not only one hand should be heard there. I think you can understand what I want to tell you.
@POOPonnaSTICK There is no melody during the Baroque period. Have you ever heard the words "fugue" or "contrapunctum"? Read some books before commenting!
Good job.....You don't play soulless fast like many piano players on YouTube, but you don't have any dynamics, you play it all flat, all mezzo-FORTE.........but it's not....many parts have to be piano
right at 49 seconds, you were supposed to do a trill in the right hand going down form C to B...or were you? i can never understand the correct tempo for a dotted sixteenth note,
its a piece you have to work out by your selve, it improves your playing very hard, and ifyou do not even play piano, forget about that piece, you cant want to drive a ralley car without having driving lessons!
Hi again, formerly CrazyPianist (canceled old account), just wanted to ask you if you thought that was Bach's way of saying that the Toccata and Fugue was really his, and not something that one Johannes Ringk came up with himself.
u play it well. i played this for my grade 7 piano exam last year and when u play this song, ur supposed to play all of the 1/8th notes detached in both hands. when u play this ur connecting them in both hands. some parts are ok tho, keep working on it! good job :)
good tempo and accuracy. I have to play this for a solo at state so this video really helped me to know what it will sound like. thanks! play more BACH!!

this is beautiful! I am playing it too, but maybe more emotion? I think that putting your emotions in the song is the best part....

OOPonnaSTICK The word is CONTRAPUNCTUM. There is no CONTRA PUNCTUM in music.

This was a refreshing listen. You made it look easy(well it is, but you made it seem effortless). Anyway great job.

most people play the last notes in a roll (dunno if that's the right term) but otherwise it was perfect :)

woow, great
it's one of the best versions I found in youtube :D
not too fast, not too slow (I know "glenn gould could play 40 times faster then I if he wanted", but I think it's more beatiful this way)
it's just a pity that the piano doesn't sound very good

Compare 0:36-0:40 with the theme from the Fugue from Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor
CrazyPianist122792 3 years ago
You're absolutely right there. I hear the echoes of that piece of music in many of his preludes and fugues too.

one criticism, the lead part the notes ring out. You're playing rests where notes should be ringing out. ;)
