He supposedly plays a diatonic harmonica (in the anime). But what is really played (in the soundtrack) it´s a chromatic harmonica. Look in google for the differences. Bye.
I dont know what drop kick gave you the mini stars - they're always too scared to comment as well, but that is fine playing, some of the best I've heard (a lot of people think if you dont play blues you r not with it, but lets face it, they are sheep ... I play blues a little, but i love to play straight as well)
