@65289hioutput The WRC regulations allowed engines up to 2 liters of displacement. However, road versions fof STi Imprezas were offered with 2.0, 2.2 and currently with 2.5 engines. The 2.2 liters was only on the 22B, but as far as I know only the body design was used for the rally car, being the 2.0 liter installed according to regulations. Besides, as I can recall, the 2.5 liters was only sold in the US, and the 2.2 came out in 1999.
