Birds are fun to draw, EmotasticallyAwsome. They make up somewhere between 10 and 20% of the Monster population, I'd guess.

I started doing most all of the Monsters upside down at around No. 40 or so. I do it only for the ones I film, mind you, just because I'm a show-off.

I'm glad you like it, commenter12345. Any art store should have bottles of India or Sumi ink. The brand I use is Yasutomo, but they all work equally well. You can also order bottles online at dickblick - com.

Hi there, IRSquirrell. I'm glad you like the latest bird. To answer your question: Yes, sometimes I can't make out a monster and have to put an ink blot aside and start over. But I keep all the shapes for later use.
