V.I.O. POV.HD !? (iPhone 4)

The produces of Top Gear Australia evaluated it and rejected the POV HD, due to poor video quality. They bought a bunch of RadCam HDPro and are loving them. The V8 ute racers are using Radcams too.

I do agree, the video quality will be awesome, definite contender for me as a vlog cam as-well. But. I had bad problems with my vio 1.5 they tried to tell me it was not faulty. But was. Anyways. Good luck with the return / refund / swap to a popper vio HD.. The cameras on HD 1080P on highest settings are insane.

Hi Blinky, just found an interesting comment from svengalie's review vid on the POV HD:

'Already contacted VIO and they are still working on the software and promising a update soon ??

So when you buy the VIO pov HD you can only record and take photo's Tagging isn't working yet.'

@Kaivalaginiviti Yeah new firmware is coming out. But the faults are worse than simply 'not being able to tag'. I'm sending it back tomorrow so we'll see how it goes. Should get a fresh unit next week.

@blinkycab Gotcha, great bit of kit if it works...I will be getting one once I know all the teething problems are gone... definitely the best camera for vlogging (on paper)

Got new one already and haven't got the same mistake as I had with the first one

No camera detected when I switched it on

And still no updates available yet :(( so no tagging in the woods riding my bike

Mate I've got the POV 1.5 on my MV AGUSTA and love it I've been waiting for this cam to be on sale in the UK gutted for you mate it's not working that truly shit hope you get replacement soon. Makes me think of not buying g straight away now let all the bugs get sorted first

@blinkycab Yeah. I think he just has the whole camera in his helmet. Probably a compact HD camcorder or something. I do think your setup is cool though too. Can't wait till I get a 250. =(
