@arrogantbastardale yeah I thought about the Strong Ale category... I can't remember right off but seems like I went to several different sights and some classified it as a strong ale and some a specialty beer?

@jakecpunut Yeah, Old Ale (19A) maybe. But only if it isn't too roasty. I just remembered what Jamil said on Brew Strong (competition episode), "Enter the beer based on what it tastes like, not what the numbers are telling you." Dunno... maybe it is too roasty for an Old Ale, but too hoppy for a stout?

Great  Jake glad a homebrewer can get a Ribbon I have entered 2 comps several years ago didnt win but feed bak was great but I think I will try again
