If only shit like this could get radio airplay... it would have been a hit. And if fans actually PAID the artists for their work insteading of pirating...
"Stop fuckin' downloading music for free, and we can save hip hop!"
You know the radio only play mall music. Example mall music - you know when go to footlocker at the mall and they always playing some wack as lil wayne or drake that's mall music and I hate when people call Wayne and etc HIP HOP!!
I don't know if it was because from what I know, Nicolay stopped sampling, if i'm correct because he didn't want to deal with copyright issues. Instead, he'd likely just recreated it somehow.
whatup matty. I don't think Nicolay will ever hear or ever listen to LEN "steal my sunshine ". you gotta open that ear and feel Nics joints. The guy is blessed with too much soul and talent to have ear and use various keyboards, rhodes and moogs. He dont need to sample that wack track. Sorry but that track (LEN " STEAL MY SUNSHINE" is wack.
I dont even like hiphop R&b these days ..its all so shallow and hmm I heard this before and to much sex ( on a not respected way) ( and thats for most genres, the most music that becomes to much in the spotlight ) But Nicolay and kay I like ;) So big pluss for you guys !
As the wheel turns, i feel things gettin better...went from young dumb and ignorant to just plain clever...now its whatever, went from the harshest of climates to bright and sunny weather...sandy beaches, dreams within my reaches, props to all of the games teachers.. memories of the concrete tearing up my sneakers...influential voices stay coming out the speakers!
yeah sure, i prefer The second LP From Aesop Rock: Labor Days; others: Mr Lif: I Phantom;
Common: Finding Forever; Common: Electric Circus; Common: Like Water For Choccolate; Little Brother: The Minstrel Show; Reflection Eternal: Train Of Thought; Mos Def: Black On Both Sides and of Course The first three a tribe called quest albums
(Sigh...) Here Goes: Foreign Exchannge, J. Dilla, Kero One, Artoffical, Nujabes, The Sound Providers, CYNE, Jazz Liberatorz, 88-Keys, Emanon, Blu and Exile, Exile, The Tones, Q-Tip, Shad, The Brand New Heavies, Blue Scholars, Perquisite and Philly, Nieve and Cook, Murs and 9th Wonder, Emanon, Gang Starr, Digable Planets, Guru, Chords, Crown City Rockers,Strange Fruit Project, Pat D. and Lady Paradox, The Streets, Marco Polo, Thomax, Madlib, Consequence, The Roots, ANNND Kev Brown. Enjoy.
Who said Hip/Hop is dead? This album proves it's still very much alive. I feel sorry for all the people who haven't made this part of the soundtrack to their lives.
yeah, i totally agree with you. this whole album is the most listened to on my ipod and i have 1600 songs on there but time:line dominates the other songs on there.
hell yeah, i can't have said it better. this is actually my favorite track on that album. check out my playlist of nicolay & kay to hear the other songs in the album and the extra songs that were not put into the album.
haha, i guess, i try to put songs that people may not hear about because a lot of the music from thats mainstream is gabage, i mean hip-hop or rap. thats one of the things that i liked about nicolay and kay.
