u should have made the hook at the end of the sword not a sharp end and then nail the hook on the sword then they kould look better

No I meant the guards are at the direct bottem and there are blades coming out from it.

this doesn't look like a real hook sword. Real ones have the guards at the bottem. Still good though

You could also cut the entire shape of the sword out of wood in one piece and sand down blades in the respective areas eliminating the need to have separate pieces. That way you could be even more decorative with it.
