Yeah, actually Team Four Star, (The makers of Dragon Ball Z Abridged) put a direct conversation of their characters in the show talking about this particular scream, and then had them get blasted and scream the scream itself. Lol. So it's joked about and seen in even Anime now a days.

It's most prominently used in Rockstar Game's Red Dead Redemption for Xbox 360 and PS3.

That is the most current use of the scream I know of or have heard.

It's used amongst various other screams that the computer controlled characters make when shot/killed. I have never heard a human controlled character use the scream however.
