it is important to note that Both Syria's Bashar Al Assad and Libya's Muammar Gaddafi both opposed the Iraq Occupation.. they were of the few arab nations that opposed this illegal occupation
Lets clap hands for these stupid people supporting the bastard Bashir al Assad who kills his own people to please his Russian ruthless partner Dictator in crime Putin! Allah has given oil and gold to Arabian countries but it hasn't given them brain. Allah is provoking these people how mercy have toward humanity. Arabian countries are aborning dictators and kings to suck their blood and no democracy. Arabs from rich people they beg kings for money for medicals and food. Free Syrian people
The Syrian President has authorised the crackdown of peaceful protests through torture and killings throughout 2011. Watch the programme Syria's Torture Machine. None of the accounts are fabricated, all the testimonies are of torture - and they were recorded by the military themselves! This interview is a diverting tactic to paint himself in a good light while his military kill people. He may be 'intelligent' as some comments say, but he doesn't know how to use that intelligence.
"Syria's torture machine"?? Full of testimonies recorded by the Syrian military?? Do you believe what you'r saying? This means that the Syrian military has been torturing citizens systematically (like a machine) and then they (the evil military) has been recording testimonies of the prisoners on how they were tortured and this has been released to the world as a Sign of Syria's Tyrant Rule. BUT... of course, the evil military would be Stupid to record such crimes against humanity, wake up! waslm
See how many people who are not even Syrian, who probably never been in Syria wish Assad death. Demanding his head to be cut off? - especially US citizens are calling for this action. So what's going on today? How civilized is the West really? You wana solve the problem by eliminating the leader of a people? Sure some other people will rise up against You sooner or later then..The fact that so many outsiders wish him death, as they wished Gaddafi death, just states how fast the Devil is working!
@fuadgoesforpeace It is crazy! I don't belive ANY word in our press! no one would kill his own people. THIS IS ALL SET UP AGAINST ASSAD AND HIS PEACEFULL LEADING OF SYRIA. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?! common, face fucking facts! (and not those ''facts'' we get overhere... these are just fairy tales trying to make us belive shit!) GET IT: INFOWARS.COM!
i am embarrassing myself ? what point did you make, Rami malhklouf ows the largest companies in syria, al assad family killed 10s of thousands of people back in hama 1982, since 1970 until now we had not any real presedential elections, bashar was laughing in his first speech and the blood of the people he killed were yet not dry a president who ows billions of dollars, kills anyone against. i am embarresing myself ? shame on you .a supporter to a mass murderer .. shame on you
2:00 "In Iraq chaos terrorism" So if I could duplicate the making of a terrorist and cast chaos over a nation then would you accept the reality that a person can be victimized first and then turned into a terrorist? Anytime casting of characters is done over a nation and chaos applied that nation will be at war. With high tech patterns being designed in virtual realms and applied over nations, the people are unmercifully cursed in this way. Who is doing this to Iraq?

Is he supposed to be well educated - he doesn't sound it, he looks inbred (alawites are doing it themslelves) and he makes no sense ... talks about reality, but does not appear to have any conception of it, sounds like a speudo intellectual which just disguises the fact that he has no appreciation of the world view of his country and now its own citizsens are rising up against him ... more obfuscation, delusion and lies. This man is going down ... no doubt about that fact.
Yes. After 9 months of unprecedented international pressure and sanctions against the Syrian government, and all the while weapons, hi-tech gadgets and money being smuggled in through the borders to assist the militants in the country, as well as help from Turkish soldiers, Mossad and CIA agents, the Syrian government is still in firm control, and militants have failed to capture any territory.
And Syria is always self-sufficient for 2 years in advance. What a stupid President ha?
@angelisdania He is not in control - he is blaming officials within his own army for committing brutalties on women and children. Tell me oh conspiracy theorist with your unprecedented insight, why is the whole world against Assad? don't talk about Russian, Iranians and Chinese, they are fairweather friends as history has shown and have their own agenda's. I would like to hear about the Arab League, King of Jordan, Turkey. BTW sanctions have been around for 30 years. Let hear it genius.
@angelisdania He denies murdered children, denies access to media and international observers, denies that his people have lost all confidence in him, denies he is responsible for the crackdown, denies he is not introducing reforms, denies the validity of the UN (Syria has an embassador to the UN), denies that innocent civilians peacefully protesting against his regime, denies the international community has a grip on reality ... oh and he blames the whole thing on terrorists - sound familiar?
Regarding the President being in control, if you are referring to the poor comprehension of Barbara Walters in her recent interview, then I hate to burst your bubble, but he did not lay blame on anyone. Neither did he agree that these atrocities were being committed, so how could he blame others for what he says did not occur?
There are a few key governments who are strongly opposed to President Bashar Al-Assad. Namely the U.S, Israel, Britain, and France.
These countries use their considerable means (financial, political, military, espionage) to gain the votes of other governments who would otherwise have taken a sideline. Syria, Hezballah and Iran are the major obstacle between the U.S/Israel alliance and their greater middle eastern agenda, having already been thwarted in the Iraqi quagmire.
For more details, study economics, the business of war, and the history of Israel.
The Arab League, Jordan, and Turkey have proven themselves enforcers of the U.S agenda, and just like the U.S and UN, they speak and act without proofs, making assumptions based on hearsay and unverified footage.
Sanctions have been around long indeed, which is why the intelligence of the President and his father before him has made Syria the self-sufficient country that it is today. But why would such evil men have a care for the people, and make sure they are provided for?
He denies murdering children. A ridiculous accusation, as such an act could never yield any benefit to him, even if he were evil. He allows numerous media representatives, and does not in fact deny observers, two facts proven recently by his agreement to the Arab League's observer mission, and allowing Al Jazeera journalist Nir Rosen to spend 7 weeks touring the country during this crisis. But let's not worry ourselves with facts under-represented by the media shall we?
He doesn't need to mention the confidence of his people. The repeated and passionate pro-Assad demonstrations of millions upon millions of Syrians across the country speaks for itself, and quite loudly when you get to see it, which is not often on western television.
He does not deny cracking down on the armed militants in Syria, being quite rightly responsible for that duty. Those who don't like him are the minority in Syria, and so he does not need to silence them.
As for reforms, they currently include, but are not limited to: Abolishment of emergency law and state security court, Introduction of multi-party system, Improvement of election laws, Increased wages for public servants, Legalisation of peaceful protests, new Media laws for greater freedom of press, and many more, all in accordance with requests from the public majority.
The UN declares its own invalidity on a daily basis. He is not the first to be disillusioned with them.
When the injured people and the families of the martyrs blame the terrorists and praise the army, and when the people demonstrate en masse as a majority in refutation of the false accusations in the media, and when even Clinton publicly advises militants in Syria not to hand in their weapons, then I deem it fair to say that terrorists are a reality in Syria.
At any rate, a person who has no solid basis for their remarks is bound to be accused of losing their grip on reality.
The Syrian President welcomed millions of Iraqi refugees fleeing from the U.S caused chaos, as well as hundred of thousands of displaced Palestinians and Lebanese. They are all treated as Syrian citizens with virtually full rights. Such an evil man.
As I have taken the time and trouble to address your queries in earnest, before you respond, I ask that you do a search for 'Al Jazeera Exposed' on Youtube, and watch those videos, along with the mass pro-Assad demonstrations.
@angelisdania two questions why not allow foreign media and international observers second why does he not permit elections - he has promised political reform and not delivered ... even if there are israeli's and the US who would love to see him go away why does that justify his torture of women and children. He is attempting to terrorise the Syrian people into submission. I would feel sorry for you spouting all this conspiracy nonsense but I suspect you work for the regime
The picture that has been painted for you is worth a thousand lies. Certain foreign media networks are allowed, and international observers have been provisionally agreed to, as I already mentioned. Presidential elections are scheduled for Feb-March 2012.
Your accusations are without credible evidence, and you ask 'why not X' when X has actually occurred. Yet still you have the gall to call me a conspiracy theorist.
Watch the uncut Barbara Walters interview. It may open your eyes.
@angelisdania I watched the uncut interview and he sounds like every other dictator giggling and smiling and denying with no credible explanation of why he won't allow independent international observers and refuses to put in place political reform. He made one astute observation, which made me think he is not as stupid as he looks; he said Syria ias not a democracy and it takes time for a society to be sufficiently mature to adopt democracy. That is true but thats why his regime is oppressive
@angelisdania To be honest he sounds like every other dictator blaming terrorists, grinning and saying his regime will tough it out, blaming moslems, threatening sectarian insurrection, civil war and Israel's security. He has learned all these tricks from his father same tricks employed by Bin Ali, Gaddaffi, Mubarak, Saleh and they all fell. Whatever you think the Assad regime is going down - I am sorry if you have a personal vested interest but if you lie with dogs ... as the saying goes
@angelisdania In my view he has made some catastrophic errors of judgement. He did not see the tide turning in the middle east - with social media and the proliferation of information it is impossible to use the same old tricks to keep people down - Obama saw it coming (because he has smart advisers not just sycophants who sing his praise) and he backed off these old rotten and corrupt regimes which have held sway for so long. If you can't control information you can't control the people.
It seems as though night and day don't differ to your eyes. The difference between the edited and uncut versions of that interview would make even the least astute raise an eyebrow (that is if you were watching the interview from a couple days ago).
None of the other leaders you mentioned lasted this long under crisis, or had such an overwhelming majority supporting them.
According to the Syrian majority, he is staying. I think people need to start accepting this.
@angelisdania He can't stay - that is impossible - history teaches us that once you kill your own people (whether you want to believe it or not) it is impossible to remain in power. He should have moved swiftly with reform - stepped down, negotiated a dignified exit, moved here to the UK with his beautiful wife and kids and opened up the path for democracy. But he is vain, deluded and foolish and he believes the sycophants around him ... I am afraid his fate will be the worst.
You've once again missed the point. The majority of the population doesn't believe he is killing his own people, even if in your arrogance you still do believe so despite the fact that Syria in general does not.
What amazes me most is how so many millions of Syrians across the country can come out so many times in support of their President, and yet still have people speaking on their behalf, saying that the people want him to go.
Again, you are implying accusations matter of factly, with complete disregard for the missing elephant in the room, that being the lack of verifiable evidence. That doesn't make for a very good lawyer.
Obama tried desperately to save Mubarak, and still clings onto his ties with oppressive Arab monarchies who enforce the most depraved forms of Sharia law, and have been caught out murdering peaceful protesters.
The more I speak to you, the more you show your lack of information.
@angelisdania Good luck there is always going to be a minority of priveleged people who benefit from thee corrupt regimes but you need to get out fast. Assad is going down and he knows it ... he is finally waking up and not listening to these elites who need him in power to maintain their own lifestyles and priveleges - I hope for your sake you are not one of them because you sure sound like it.
I was born and raised in Australia. My parents are Lebanese. I gain nothing personally if the President stays or leaves.
I do have many friends and relatives in Syria with whom I am in frequent contact with. They all affirm what I deduce of the situation, and so they are quite adamant that the accusations in the media are completely false, and that the majority of the country is with him.
But what do they know right? They just live there.
@angelisdania I guessed you were either lebanese or Syrian with connections in the region. I am also guessing your friends and relatives live in Damascus and not Homs or where the rebellion is. i am also guessing your family has strong business and professional links and are wealthy and well connected to components of the regime. i am born british, iranian/ pakastani origin and live and work in the region ... I think I have a strong sense of fair play (the Brit in me) and I don't buy it.
Your guesses are way off. I have relatives in Homs, Tartous, Latakia, and different parts of the countryside. None of them are connected or particularly wealthy.
But even so, pro-Assad demonstrations in all of those cities far and exceedingly outnumber any anti-government protesters, even in Homs where civilians and soldiers alike have been sorely pressed and murdered by the terrorists.
@angelisdania The reason why you hate Al Jazeera is that the Qatari government like most of the GCC countries are actually forward looking - they are good at spotting political change, adapting and absorbing. Al Jazeera is an excellent news station as is the BBC, I don't like the American stations, I hate Fox news. I have lived in the middle east and I am a lawyer so it is hard to fool me. Al Jazeera is one of the best stations and thats why the dictators hate it. Mubarak, Gadaffi etc. Good luck
The reason I hate Al Jazeera is the same reason I hate liars. If it was difficult for you to find videos exposing their blatant fabrications and misrepresentations, it has proven far easier for others.
If the Syrian people wanted President Bashar Al-Assad gone, then over 11 million of them in the streets all at once would have overpowered any group foolish enough to stand against them. Why were they all passionately supporting him? Are they all terrorist supporters?
@angelisdania democracy never works like that in reality - what you are describing is a dictatorship. Mature democracies are finelly balanced with the majority party holding a slim majority and other parties with a powerful veto. What you describe is the tyrrany of the majority. proper elections should result in a party not winning more than 60% and the reamining parties having a comensurate power of veto in a proprly constituted paraliament. Dictators win by overwhelming majorities
I'm not trying to describe any form of government, as that would be completely beside the point. What I am saying is that the legitimacy of a leader is determined by their support from the population.
Given the overwhelming support from the Syrian people, the only way that President Bashar Al-Assad will cease to be President, is if Syria loses a war against foreign invaders.
So nothing you or I say has any bearing on the fact that Syria believes and wants its President.
@angelisdania Then put in place political reform be courageous - Assad will make enemies of his fathers old friends but do it. Have proper elections independently monitored and if they vote him in ... then that is fine. In the UK we had the IRA we told them to go to the ballot box to make their point but they preferred vilence. If the protesters choose violence when offered fair elections under Arab league supervision ... then they can be called terrorists
I'm beginning to wonder if you even read all of my responses. I will say again, the next Presidential election will be held in Feb-March 2012. There have been many popular reforms implemented, with more being enacted as time goes by, and even more on the schedule.
These protesters have chosen violence from the beginning, and do not care about the reforms that have been instantiated, and do not care about the upcoming elections and multi-party system. They are terrorists.
@angelisdania he has promised reform since 2003 lets see what happens my guess is that he will be swept aside. It won't happen quickly because even though he is shockingly incomptetent and vain, Syria is not Egypt or Libya it is a much more politically complicated. Putin and the US are at diplomatic loggerheads with corruption rife in Russia and therefore will veto any UN securtity council resolution to impose buffer or no fly zone. I don't think anything is going to happen quickly.
I don't think you are going to come to any reasonable or viable conclusion on this matter if you continue to ignore the salient points and most relevant facts. Dr. Bashar Al-Assad remains President because his people want him to be President.
Neither do your baseless insults to his intelligence hit home, as no person of such description could have stood so long in the face of such unprecedented international pressure.
Your argumentative style is plagued with escapism.
The Arab League has proven faithless. They violated their own charter to push the U.S agenda against Syria, and are now trying to pass a draft protocol that violates the charter again and contradicts their own terms. They are not fit to supervise lunch, let alone an election.
But that is neither here nor there. You don't need an election or an opinion poll to know that most Syrians support the President. I refer you again to the incredible pro-Assad demonstrations.
@angelisdania You are just churning out Pro-Assad propaganda ... I wouldn't worry anyway I can't see the regime falling. The ICC may issue a warrant for Assad for crimes against humanity but that would be difficult to implement without backing from the UN security council and for political reasons Russia and China will veto any efforts on the part of NATO to get involved. He has a huge moral problem - pity he can't control the internet.
@angelisdania It is impossible to verify the evidence if he doesn't allow independent observers or journalists into his country and he knows it. So we can see the butchered body of women and children on the internet and he deny its validity because there is no way of independently verifying it - he has put a stop to that.
Broken record says: President Bashar Al-Assad has provisionally agreed to an independent observer mission, and has allowed journalists, even from networks as ethically compromised as Al Jazeera, to enter the country.
So, as a lawyer, do you normally work off the basis 'guilty until proven innocent'? If we see videos that, not only are unverifiable, but can in many cases be easily exposed as false (and have been), do we apply collective punishment to a country on such a weak premise?
@angelisdania First sign of madness is declaring the whole world is mad. Iam not saying you are mad - you are probably a nice person but lets see if he actually allows the journalists in - he has promised that numerous times but failed to deliver. You may prove me and the rest of the world wrong. Even Russia, China and Iran are losing patience with Assad ... they have all called for him to stop the killings ... how can the whole world be wrong
Just before I leave, the devil is in the details as they say. Russia, China, and Iran have said they want an end to the violence, but never did they say that President Bashar Al-Assad was guilty of firing at peaceful protesters or civilians.
Also, if I wasn't clear, he has already allowed journalists in, and they have come back out and made their reports. I think you need to branch out with your media sources, as you are missing out on much of the details.
@angelisdania I hope all goes well in Syria - not everyone thinks democracy is a good solution but when you are faced with this sort of situation it is the only system that can provide legitimacy. I hope you are right and I hope Syria remains stable and comes out ok. Syrian people are great as are Iranians Russians and Chinese it is often the politicians who mess things up. I just would have handled things differently if I were Assad. I wish you all the best
I'm going to take a break now. I appreciate that you've sincerely tried to have a real discussion here, unlike many others who curse rabidly and then leave.
I have watched so many of those videos you referred to. But I have also watched the videos that expose many of them as false. I really wish you would have a look yourself, as they are readily available on Youtube. Search for 'Al Jazeera Exposed', and judge for yourself.
@angelisdania It is true that these old corrupt regimes were propped up by the West for so long who feared Israels security and were concerned about the supply of oil. They knew that these were rotten dictatorships but were prepared to look the other way for the sake of stability. These rotten regimes provide stability for wealthy Syrian's like yourself by oppressing large parts of the people. That is no longer possible with social media and Assad is stupid, he is a very vain and foolish man.
I have travelled as a tourist to Syria last year. It is country full of wonderful people. Don't believe all that the media presents. I was most welcome in that country.
We are all humans! Please stop hating. It does not matter if ur arabian, american, europian... No matter race.. We are all the same, we should love each other instead of saying kill to this and kill to that.. Stop hating.. This world is getting worse for everyday.. And who's fault is that??? US! So stop hating!
Well said. It is hard to break through hatred, especially when it is so blind. All of these people are spewing hate without holding even a shred of proof about what they claim to despise.
A wise being once said, "The difference between truth and falsehood is four fingers." He was referring to the distance between your eyes and your ears. What you witness is believable, and what you merely hear about is not.
I always find questions like : " Killing British and American soldiers is normal to you?" as immoral.One has to ask how these soldiers occupied Iraq? With olive branches?With roses without killing civilian Iraqis? Yea probably :)
What relevance does your statement have after 11 years of his Presidency that has earned him the open and strong support of the majority of his people? You must have seen the repeated multi-million pro-Assad demonstrations across the country.
What does it matter now if he was a doctor or the owner of a convenience store? The people of Syria have spoken, and they will not accept any other President but Bashar Al-Assad. Learn to accept it, the sooner the better.
i am embarrassing myself ? what point did you make, Rami malhklouf ows the largest companies in syria, al assad family killed 10s of thousands of people back in hama 1982, since 1970 until now we had not any real presedential elections, bashar was laughing in his first speech and the blood of the people he killed were yet not dry a president who ows billions of dollars, kills anyone against. i am embarresing myself ? shame on you .a supporter to a mass murderer .. shame on you
ts funny, how we always accuse media with lies and manipulations.but our only knowledge of syria and libya is what cnn and fox news tells us.we never went there, we dnt know what happens in its borders.we jst jump to conclusions. yet when non aligned press networks report what actually happens, we back hand them... we believe what corporate controled media channels tell us.. Supporting NATO air raids on civilian land is a crime against humanity... voltairenet (non-aligned press network)
@NaziriHakikat You should never believe any of the western mainstream media when it comes to matters middle-east. The BBC, CNN, Fox etc are biased and will support our governments to pursue their agendas. You have to go to many alternative sources to form an opinion of what is actually happening. They are uncritical when our governments lie and therefore are complicit in war crimes. Iraq is a perfect example. Now they're doing the same to Iran and anyone else who doesn't bow down
@NaziriHakikat What business is it of a group of people to fill people's ears with wars and rumors of war when they can do nothing and never will do anything about it? The main purpose is not to get people to do something about it, but it is to get the masses to believe your stories so they keep coming back to listen to you. And then once you have their ears chained to your stories you insert tactics to strip them of their peace, joy and love. Thereby altering their country's course. Castings
@KrunKMYMinD Dear Pathetic user. the date you are reffering to is november 30. This was the date set for ww3. Here in Syria, we wash our faces with the blood of any crusader. We have weapons to counter any strike, including a EMP, s500 ultra sonic missile, mig 31 and so forth, which will drop your Air superiority f22 suicide planes from the sky. Do not kid yourself, Stop watching T.V, and bunker down. We are coming for you.
You embarrass yourself by referring to things unsubstantiated, and then drawing illogical and fanciful conclusions from them.
I feel I have you at a disadvantage, being not myself mentally impaired, and so I must end this fruitless discussion with you.
Try at least in the meantime to investigate the other perspective on this, as you must have noticed the increasing number of people exposing the truth about Syria and voicing their support for the President.
@angelisdania you are brain washed, ... everything i said is fact , they killed people in hama 1982, more than 4000 people got killed in the last few months, his family has alll the big companies in syria, he is a billionaire, and a mass murderer .... keep saying what ever you want . you just speak trash nothing more .. and people wont believe you ... you did not reply me. coz you dont dare.you just want to end the discussion with intellectual sentences , enta wahed hmar ... haywan , kalb .
@DarkprinX2500 idiots right ? well let me think .. he killed 4000 poeople in the last few months .... he own like 70 billion dollars in europ ..... his family has all large resources ...... he threatens people with weapons .... so after all that you still support him .. I dont know who is the idiot ... people are not stupid to belive you .
70 billion dollars in Europe? You poor wretched thing. Do you normally throw around random unsubstantiated nonsense and expect people to simply accept it against all reason and evidence?
Do you know that you expose yourself as false when your arguments cross the threshold of ridiculousness and enter into the realm of obvious and desperate fabrication?
You have made it clear that you have nothing but an innate and blind hatred, which has nothing to do with facts.
@angelisdania yes 70 billions you bone head ................. what you think ? he has like 100 millions ? he is a billionair .... you support a mass murderer that would do anything for money .... shame on you .. shame on you ......... at least you agreed on the other points i made ...
@buster6305 I see your from USA, the country with the dumbest people in the world. And the fattest people in the world, there is 33% chance that your overweight! America is filled with jews and they love keeping the people dumb with their propaganda lies. The police in your country is hitting it's citizens instead of protecting them. The people in your country are peacefully protesting and the police are hitting them and your government want the protestors to be silenced. Your country is a lie.
lol your living in fear of gettin into debts? im sure your very stressed right now lmaooo,im syrian and my couzin and his wife got killed and raped 2 weeks ago because they took bashars picture off the windshield of thier car but im sorry to hear tht your in fear of getting into debts, i live in usa so i can i afford sending money to my family because salarys in syria arent good enough to provide for me and my family i currently live in the uae
@Buster6305 I can't respond to that.. most people in Syria don't even have a car which means they must have been rich people.. and seriously of all the cars I've seen in Syria (and I've been there about 4 times) I never seen any cars with bashars picture on them. I have seen them in houses and on the street but that's about it.
I can't really believe they got killed and raped just for a picture... in their car...
@Rockyeeful you dont really believe? and isnt it a shame tht you and i have or had to study outside of syria even though your syrian because degrees in syria aren't internationally good enough is tht what you want for your kids to have to live outside of syria because a syrian degree isnt good enough?you think im happy to be forced to live outside of my country, imagine your kids living in a free syria thts all im gna say.....
@Buster6305 The arab people are in general stupid sheep, they won't get freedom unless it is forced by America. When that happens it will get worse than it is now, it will become a 2nd IraQ. Just like in Libya. The people should get their freedom themselves, but not with outside "help".
I wish for my kids too to be living in a free Syria, because I don't love Europe, I hate capitalism and all the corruptness it comes with. If Syria was truly free, I would go back to Syria.
so you would rather have syria run under a fascist govt. with a fascist dictator? why not have syria be run under collective conservative govt. just like the uae? or maybe be run like sweden? and your right capitalism is corrupt i do not support capitilasim i would prefer pure communism the way karl marx wanted to do it.
@Buster6305 Sheep follow the hurder. Your a sheep. I don't blame you. But you don't have to be a sheep, you can be a smart individual person who can actually think for himself and not let himself to be brainwashed.
@Rockyeeful obviously ur gna support bashar when you live in the netherands a country with freedom and a free market, your a kid who needs to get his/her facts straight your occupation says power to the poeple yet your supporting a dictator and i reccomend tht if you wanna have an intellegent debate with a grown up you should actualy read your books......and actualy find out what "power to the poeple" means...
@Buster6305 Hahaha netherlands a free market? My ass. Democracy? My ass. Freedom? My ass. It's a intelligent dictatorship, why is there a occupy movement here in several city's? I'm working my ass off to get my study paid and I'm living in fear to get into debts. I hate this government, school gets more expensive each year, food gets more expensive, clothes everything. Corporations and banks getting richer. JEWS. And guess who hates Syria? ISRAEL =JEWS. You are a good brainwashed sheep. RIP.
@however,People/Bashar dont realize that an army is there to protect civilians from being harmed by uncivilized people like Bashar, if the army wasnt there to harm them who would??????????????? Are you making any sense in your reply to me. Look person Ignorance is a bliss only to the ignorant. It's time for Bashar to reform which maybe to late.
@DarkprinX2500 Wow your a dumb fuck.......... if you think bashar is a good leader than your a traitor to the poeple of syria, how the fuck can you even support bashar? he runs a facist dictator ship, he takes and doesnt give, wtf has he givin back to his country thts more than what other leaders have? he is no dif than hitler, he uses his secret police to force words in the mouths of syrian poeple,
@DarkprinX2500 lol no syrians support syrians ,alawees support bashar and if you didnt know that then your not a true syrian......, keep watching your anime vidioes becuase it looks like your learning alot about how the world is run......
@Buster6305 SYRIA SUPPORTS ASSAD.. your just a warmonger.. you want to kill assad . because you don't like Alawite ruling Syria.. like many wahabbi extremists.. Syria is secular.. and will remain so.. Long Live Assad!!
@DarkprinX2500 no i dnt wnt to kill assad i dnt wish death upon anybody thts the dif between me and u, i dnt believe in resorting to violence and torturing other humanbeings because they are fighting for what they believe in, bashar has taken alot frm me and my family but tht doesn't mean i wnt him killed, because i wnt him to be alive so he can c tht the country is mch better without him when he is gone .i wnt him 2 c tht a person achieved something he didnt and will never achieve, Better Syria
@DarkprinX2500 you are making it about Alawite, it is not about them ... this is about Al assad, and he must be stoped (even killed ) .... god bless Alawite .... The Arab League and Turkey call for "urgent steps" to protect Syrian civilians, hours after rebel troops reportedly attack a military base near Damascus. ASSAD they are coming for you. Yea they are not NATO but the Arabs. Make no mistake and again i agree that lots of uprising and removal of leaders has been encourage by the west. Listen, you will not be allowed to use that excuse to stay in power and murder people because they ask and need change. ''BEHOLD YOU HOUR COMMETH

if he was they wouldnt tell him to leave the power,hes terrorist hes killing innocent ppl,just go mate they dont want you anymore or u will not have an happy ending and examples are just around the corner kaddafi
Whenever Assad is interviewed, he insists on inserting a banana up his ass for the duration. He feels it's the only way to get a true lisp going. His real speaking voice is so high pitched, it is only audible to dogs. Did you also know that his obsession with the music of GG Allin was the cause of many a row between him and his father? Or that his favourite animal is the meerkat? To find out more about this fascinating jerk off, visit Damascus and repeat all of the above, very loudly, anywhere.
Dictators will be extinct in the short run.

He may be 'intelligent' as some comments say, but he doesn't know how to use that intelligence.
wahidhussain1979 1 month ago
"Syria's torture machine"?? Full of testimonies recorded by the Syrian military?? Do you believe what you'r saying? This means that the Syrian military has been torturing citizens systematically (like a machine) and then they (the evil military) has been recording testimonies of the prisoners on how they were tortured and this has been released to the world as a Sign of Syria's Tyrant Rule. BUT... of course, the evil military would be Stupid to record such crimes against humanity, wake up! waslm

So what's going on today? How civilized is the West really? You wana solve the problem by eliminating the leader of a people? Sure some other people will rise up against You sooner or later then..The fact that so many outsiders wish him death, as they wished Gaddafi death, just states how fast the Devil is working!

What a stupid President ha?
angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania He is not in control - he is blaming officials within his own army for committing brutalties on women and children. Tell me oh conspiracy theorist with your unprecedented insight, why is the whole world against Assad? don't talk about Russian, Iranians and Chinese, they are fairweather friends as history has shown and have their own agenda's. I would like to hear about the Arab League, King of Jordan, Turkey. BTW sanctions have been around for 30 years. Let hear it genius.
vohshkab 1 month ago
@angelisdania He denies murdered children, denies access to media and international observers, denies that his people have lost all confidence in him, denies he is responsible for the crackdown, denies he is not introducing reforms, denies the validity of the UN (Syria has an embassador to the UN), denies that innocent civilians peacefully protesting against his regime, denies the international community has a grip on reality ... oh and he blames the whole thing on terrorists - sound familiar?
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
Cont.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@vohshkab

Cont.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@vohshkab
Cont.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@vohshkab
Cont.

As I have taken the time and trouble to address your queries in earnest, before you respond, I ask that you do a search for 'Al Jazeera Exposed' on Youtube, and watch those videos, along with the mass pro-Assad demonstrations.

angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania two questions why not allow foreign media and international observers second why does he not permit elections - he has promised political reform and not delivered ... even if there are israeli's and the US who would love to see him go away why does that justify his torture of women and children. He is attempting to terrorise the Syrian people into submission. I would feel sorry for you spouting all this conspiracy nonsense but I suspect you work for the regime
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
It may open your eyes.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania I watched the uncut interview and he sounds like every other dictator giggling and smiling and denying with no credible explanation of why he won't allow independent international observers and refuses to put in place political reform. He made one astute observation, which made me think he is not as stupid as he looks; he said Syria ias not a democracy and it takes time for a society to be sufficiently mature to adopt democracy. That is true but thats why his regime is oppressive
vohshkab 1 month ago
@angelisdania To be honest he sounds like every other dictator blaming terrorists, grinning and saying his regime will tough it out, blaming moslems, threatening sectarian insurrection, civil war and Israel's security. He has learned all these tricks from his father same tricks employed by Bin Ali, Gaddaffi, Mubarak, Saleh and they all fell. Whatever you think the Assad regime is going down - I am sorry if you have a personal vested interest but if you lie with dogs ... as the saying goes
vohshkab 1 month ago
@angelisdania In my view he has made some catastrophic errors of judgement. He did not see the tide turning in the middle east - with social media and the proliferation of information it is impossible to use the same old tricks to keep people down - Obama saw it coming (because he has smart advisers not just sycophants who sing his praise) and he backed off these old rotten and corrupt regimes which have held sway for so long. If you can't control information you can't control the people.
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
I think people need to start accepting this.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania He can't stay - that is impossible - history teaches us that once you kill your own people (whether you want to believe it or not) it is impossible to remain in power. He should have moved swiftly with reform - stepped down, negotiated a dignified exit, moved here to the UK with his beautiful wife and kids and opened up the path for democracy. But he is vain, deluded and foolish and he believes the sycophants around him ... I am afraid his fate will be the worst.
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
What were you saying about proliferation of info?
angelisdania 1 month ago
@vohshkab
The more I speak to you, the more you show your lack of information.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania Good luck there is always going to be a minority of priveleged people who benefit from thee corrupt regimes but you need to get out fast. Assad is going down and he knows it ... he is finally waking up and not listening to these elites who need him in power to maintain their own lifestyles and priveleges - I hope for your sake you are not one of them because you sure sound like it.
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
They just live there.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania I guessed you were either lebanese or Syrian with connections in the region. I am also guessing your friends and relatives live in Damascus and not Homs or where the rebellion is. i am also guessing your family has strong business and professional links and are wealthy and well connected to components of the regime. i am born british, iranian/ pakastani origin and live and work in the region ... I think I have a strong sense of fair play (the Brit in me) and I don't buy it.
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
Your guesses are way off. I have relatives in Homs, Tartous, Latakia, and different parts of the countryside. None of them are connected or particularly wealthy.
But even so, pro-Assad demonstrations in all of those cities far and exceedingly outnumber any anti-government protesters, even in Homs where civilians and soldiers alike have been sorely pressed and murdered by the terrorists.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania The reason why you hate Al Jazeera is that the Qatari government like most of the GCC countries are actually forward looking - they are good at spotting political change, adapting and absorbing. Al Jazeera is an excellent news station as is the BBC, I don't like the American stations, I hate Fox news. I have lived in the middle east and I am a lawyer so it is hard to fool me. Al Jazeera is one of the best stations and thats why the dictators hate it. Mubarak, Gadaffi etc. Good luck
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
Are they all terrorist supporters?
angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania democracy never works like that in reality - what you are describing is a dictatorship. Mature democracies are finelly balanced with the majority party holding a slim majority and other parties with a powerful veto. What you describe is the tyrrany of the majority. proper elections should result in a party not winning more than 60% and the reamining parties having a comensurate power of veto in a proprly constituted paraliament. Dictators win by overwhelming majorities
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
So nothing you or I say has any bearing on the fact that Syria believes and wants its President.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania Then put in place political reform be courageous - Assad will make enemies of his fathers old friends but do it. Have proper elections independently monitored and if they vote him in ... then that is fine. In the UK we had the IRA we told them to go to the ballot box to make their point but they preferred vilence. If the protesters choose violence when offered fair elections under Arab league supervision ... then they can be called terrorists
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
They are terrorists.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania he has promised reform since 2003 lets see what happens my guess is that he will be swept aside. It won't happen quickly because even though he is shockingly incomptetent and vain, Syria is not Egypt or Libya it is a much more politically complicated. Putin and the US are at diplomatic loggerheads with corruption rife in Russia and therefore will veto any UN securtity council resolution to impose buffer or no fly zone. I don't think anything is going to happen quickly.
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
Your argumentative style is plagued with escapism.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@vohshkab
I refer you again to the incredible pro-Assad demonstrations.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania You are just churning out Pro-Assad propaganda ... I wouldn't worry anyway I can't see the regime falling. The ICC may issue a warrant for Assad for crimes against humanity but that would be difficult to implement without backing from the UN security council and for political reasons Russia and China will veto any efforts on the part of NATO to get involved. He has a huge moral problem - pity he can't control the internet.
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
It would be difficult for the ICC to implement anything against President Bashar Al-Assad, as unlike you, they have to work off evidence.
angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania It is impossible to verify the evidence if he doesn't allow independent observers or journalists into his country and he knows it. So we can see the butchered body of women and children on the internet and he deny its validity because there is no way of independently verifying it - he has put a stop to that.
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
If we see videos that, not only are unverifiable, but can in many cases be easily exposed as false (and have been), do we apply collective punishment to a country on such a weak premise?
angelisdania 1 month ago
@angelisdania First sign of madness is declaring the whole world is mad. Iam not saying you are mad - you are probably a nice person but lets see if he actually allows the journalists in - he has promised that numerous times but failed to deliver. You may prove me and the rest of the world wrong. Even Russia, China and Iran are losing patience with Assad ... they have all called for him to stop the killings ... how can the whole world be wrong
vohshkab 1 month ago
@vohshkab
Cheers.

@iir0nii

Learn to accept it, the sooner the better.

ts funny, how we always accuse media with lies and manipulations.but our only knowledge of syria and libya is what cnn and fox news tells us.we never went there, we dnt know what happens in its borders.we jst jump to conclusions. yet when non aligned press networks report what actually happens, we back hand them... we believe what corporate controled media channels tell us.. Supporting NATO air raids on civilian land is a crime against humanity... voltairenet (non-aligned press network)
NaziriHakikat 1 month ago 7
@NaziriHakikat You should never believe any of the western mainstream media when it comes to matters middle-east. The BBC, CNN, Fox etc are biased and will support our governments to pursue their agendas. You have to go to many alternative sources to form an opinion of what is actually happening. They are uncritical when our governments lie and therefore are complicit in war crimes. Iraq is a perfect example. Now they're doing the same to Iran and anyone else who doesn't bow down
wotdoesitmatter 1 month ago

I wish you luck.

Do you know that you expose yourself as false when your arguments cross the threshold of ridiculousness and enter into the realm of obvious and desperate fabrication?
You have made it clear that you have nothing but an innate and blind hatred, which has nothing to do with facts.

Buster6305 1 month ago

Buster6305 1 month ago
@Buster6305 The arab people are in general stupid sheep, they won't get freedom unless it is forced by America. When that happens it will get worse than it is now, it will become a 2nd IraQ. Just like in Libya. The people should get their freedom themselves, but not with outside "help".
I wish for my kids too to be living in a free Syria, because I don't love Europe, I hate capitalism and all the corruptness it comes with. If Syria was truly free, I would go back to Syria.
Rockyeeful 1 month ago
so you would rather have syria run under a fascist govt. with a fascist dictator? why not have syria be run under collective conservative govt. just like the uae? or maybe be run like sweden? and your right capitalism is corrupt i do not support capitilasim i would prefer pure communism the way karl marx wanted to do it.
